I ordered a California burger with Onion Rings on 16Nov2023. Not sure if the chef hates me, or what. When I opened my ordered, I notice there was no top bun included with my burger. When I went to try an onion ring, it was so salty I had to wipe off the salt with my napkin, even then, it was still too salty. So today, I realized that this person who cooked my food obviously didn’t give two ***** about it. I would advise anyone who wants to try this place out not to, it’s all in the details, and I would rather take my money to a small business who actually cares about their customers. Not serve your burger without a bun, and coat your onion rings in salt. Shame on the chef, you shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the kitchen.
Happy hour and daily specials galore! We saw an advertisement for 1/4 broasted chicken $6.95 mon-fri 4-6 but to our surprise there were many more specials. FREE pizza 3-5, 1/2 price select apps 4-6 and daily specials; today happened to be 1/2 price burgers. Best of all the food was great! Recommend the Pepperoni pizza wheels for an appetizer and broasted chicken fingers. Mashed potatoes were homemade. Family of three ate for $25! Another favorite of mine is popcorn and they have that too. We are excited to go back.
Have driven past this quaint little tavern many times over the years. Finally had the chance to stop in for lunch recently. Very helpful and attentive waitress (Debbie). We opted for the Cuban and Reuben in spite of a delicious looking chicken and pizza buffet. We're rewarded with two excellent versions of our favorite sandwiches. Both had extremely generous portions of meat. My Cuban had deeply smokey homemade pulled pork with some nicely seared lean ham. Little heavy on the mustard and the bottom bread was ungrilled. Coleslaw was nice and creamy too. Nice sized chunks of Corned Beef in the Reuben with a reaaaaaally tasty dressing that was better than the standard 1000 Island (homemade?). Great breakfast on the weekends. Very crispy hash browns and perfect poached eggs. Hollandaise could use a bit more lemon. Still went very well with the dishes we ordered. Very generous serving of Italian sausage in the Cajun Breakfast. Walleye Sandwich had a nice sized fillet and was very crisp. However, the unseasoned coating was too thick and pieces kept falling off. Bread was also a little dry. Angry Italian was delicious with a red pepper aioli that boosted the flavor.
Laura was the best server we've had eating out in a long time. She was attentive and quick! For a group of 9, that's amazing. Our food was delicious.
In town for a hockey tournament and Welsch’s did not disappoint. The best Bloody Mary mix I’ve had in a long time - the perfect blend of spice. The homemade jam was amazing. Will definitely visit again when in the area!
We can not thank the waitress and the chef enough. New customer, needed food to go. We needed it fast and had a food allergy (eggs) in my group. The girls expedited eggless pancakes for us. They used a separate pan. They were ready in about five minutes. And they were amazing!
By far the worst food I have ever gotten a restaurant. The broasted chicken was cooked so long that when I took a bite it was dry bones inside. I also ordered the French onion soup that I couldn’t even eat. All my food was burnt. Terrible terrible terrible. My husband got the fish and it had no flavor. The food took 1 hour 20 mins to get to the table. Lots of trash in the parking lot. The drinks were good- only thing that saved the evening
Our server was overwhelmed. Apparently someone didn't show up for work and we were part of a large group, so she was slammed. However, I got a tap beer and the glass tasted of disinfectant. The buffet dinner was fine, but not exceptional.

Caribou Coffee's Frozen Matcha With Bubbles is a delicious and refreshing summer drink. The service was great, and the outdoor tables were enjoyable. Adding some flowers would have made it even better
Everything tasted really great and I enjoyed everything they had! I even loved their side dishes! The service was really kind too and the owner would talk and check in with the tables to make sure everything is going alright. The only small issues is
