Wellington Reservoir Park - City park in Wellington - 535 Jones Rd, USA

First time ever at a park that is horse and pet friendly!!! Serene with autumn highlights and wildflowers, not crowded, well cared for and has easy to travel trails- nature, gravel, and paved, docks for canoes and other small non motor boats, picnic areas. There is an office on site and ample parking

A small quiet lake that horseshoes to the left and take you down a short river to the overflow dam by the bridge. Turtles, geese, great blue herons and muskrats make their home among the brambles along the shore.

One of my hometown spots to fish I love coming up here!

Morning trip to kayak, very peaceful. I see the office is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Very nice park area. The building is gorgeous and has an observation deck overlooking the lower reservoir. They rent kayaks, paddle boats etc. Great place to hang with your nature friends.

This is a great place to see ducks, geese, and other waterfowl during the spring and fall migrations. There are often over 1000 Ruddy Ducks and they stay around until the reservoir freezes over in the winter.

Nice park with a walking path around the water.

Great place to watch the sunset in a quiet peaceful area. Only thing that could make it better would be a place to sit and enjoy it.
