Honestly don’t know where to begin… first of all, the older guy working there (didn’t get his name) wasn’t super friendly. He sort of yelled at me when I got there because I accidentally made my reservation for the wrong day. Their website crashed on me at least 12 times and wasn’t easy to navigate. I also followed the directions on the receipt which weren’t correct so I was 30 minutes late. I asked the older worker if we could have some extra time and he was really sassy. He made me feel stupid for accidentally making my reservation for the wrong day so I explained to him the problems I faced and he didn’t seem to care. The younger guy working there was super friendly and thought it was kind of funny so he still let us go out in the water. The older guy working redeemed himself a little (not much though) while trying to get my friend and I back on the dock. He was joking around with us and was just in an overall better mood. Can’t say that I’d go back but if you need a nice, quiet place to kayak it wasn’t bad. Very disappointed in my experience overall.
We and our kids spent the afternoon at the reservoir. Such a great time, free paddle boating, jungle gym, walking path, rec building with air conditioning! So family friendly! Great, great time (:

Always a beautiful place to go for a walk. The path is always clean and well maintanied. I have rented the hall before for a birthday party. Was a very nice place with an amazing view. You are also able to rent kayaks during the summer to get out on the water.
Rented a paddle boat for an hour. What a workout!!! Took my wife and g-granddaughters for a ride and were fortunate enough to get a few photos of a bald eagle.
Wellington reservation is a nice place for a quiet hike. Almost 4 miles of paved, and cinder paths lead you through beautiful grasslands and wetlands. There are also bridal trails, they also offer kayak and paddle boat rentals.
Nice clean park. Trails are lightly used with plenty of parking for large horse trailers. It's flat but good enough for light exercise.
Kayaking the reservoir gives you a great opportunity to see wildlife up close. Even a bald eagle or two!

Great park!! Just watched the Monster Ball Tourney here yesterday. The concession stand is affordable and well stocked. Loved the covered area with green space and the cooling mist. Grounds crew was great.

Wellington's hidden little gem. I lived in that town for 20 years and never knew it was there. It's a nice clean bowling alley with a small bar and nice staff. Apparently they have bowling leagues almost every night.
The pizza was absolutely delicious. Worth the 20 minute drive to pick up for home. Will definitely be ordering again. Nice portion size and decent amount of toppings
