This place was really good. I usually have to request extra pillows but not here. Everything in our room was in good working condition not like some other motels that I won't mention here. All team members went above and beyond every day of our vacation. The indoor salt water pool was really good. Didn't get a chance to try out the hot tub. The full service restaurant had a full breakfast menu. That is one feature that I don't see very often. The service in the dining room/tent exceeded my expectations. A fully stocked bar was available to all customers. First time that I have ever had a Bloody Mary with my breakfast. All team members were knowledgeable, friendly, experienced and had a sense of humor. I look forward to visiting the Wellfleet Motel next year.
The motel is well kept. Fairly updated, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast restaurant on the property. Nice soft bed. I booked the handicapped accessible room with the roll-in-shower, but unfortunately the lip of the floor pan in the shower was too high for my wheelchair to roll over. I recommend bringing an inch and a half rubber threshold ramp to roll into the shower. Other than that everything else was good.
This was our 5th or 6th stay at the Wellfleet Lodge and we couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations and service. Our front desk receptionist Tiara graciously enabled us to check-into our room before the "official" deadline and thoughtfully provided pool towels for our immediate use. Plenty of parking right outside our unit. Our room was spacious, with plenty of square footage for two very comfortable queen beds (and ample pillows), a closet, dresser, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, full length mirror, and tub/shower in the well-lit tiled bathroom. Fresh towels and housekeeping daily--a welcome amenity after COVID-triggered cutbacks in the hospitality industry. The AC unit was relatively quiet, so it did not disrupt our sleep. Within an easy drive of our favorite beaches and restaurants in the Wellfleet area. We loved coming back from the beach on a hot, sticky, windy day, rinsing off, and taking advantage of the clean, attractive pool. Not huge, but big enough to swim some laps.
We returned to the Wellfleet Inn Lodge, and were just as happy as in years past. What a comfortable, spacious, beach themed place to make your vacation feel like a home away from home for a few days or weeks. Amenities include saltwater indoor and outdoor pools with a hot tub in the indoor. The suite is nice for families with a separate room from the beds to hang out after the kids go to sleep. The people are friendly, service is excellent and the restaurant on premises, Harrigan’s Cafe has delicious breakfasts. There is also a big grassy courtyard that doubles as an athletic field with a toy box full of outdoor games like croquet, badminton and the beanbags for corn hole toss - with several set ups for the corn hole in a few spots. Lots of chairs for hanging out, a grilling area near the pool, great towel service for both bath and pool, and little added niceties all around. We love this place ❤️ and will be back!
Positive: Great location and excellent staff. Negative: The room was very damp, musty and cold upon arrival. Even the carpeting felt damp to the touch. Sleeping the first evening was rather unpleasant. The 2nd evening was much better after being able to open the room up to the outside and ventilate it
We stayed a weekend in mid August and we found the motel clean and quiet and the staff was nice. The pool was well maintained and the access to the bike path is great. We will be back.
Very clean and quiet. The bed is very comfortable. The room has a microwave and a small refrigerator. The people are friendly and helpful. The flowers around the property are beautiful. Very convenient location.
We spent 3 days in this motel and it was amazing! Rooms are very big, super clean. The bathroom is also clean and pretty new. Service is great. The location is also fantastic,you can easily reach Chatham and Provincetown. The area is very quite, so at night we slept very well, no noise at all. Also, right in front there is a place for breakfast that is really something to look forward to! We had breakfast there every morning and everything was extremely delicious! Service there was also great, everyone was really nice. We will definitely come back here for sure!
