Mountain View Cottage did NOT disappoint!! I’ve been staying with Asheville Swiss Chalets/Well-Bred Luxury Lodging for over 12 and have always loved staying in the cottages and rentals. Judy and her crew (Don and Laurie) make you and your fur babies feel right at home. The cookies and dog biscuits are such a special treat! Make sure to eat at Well-Bred Bakery while you are there. The desserts and sandwiches are amazing! I can’t wait to return! Thank you for always making our trip extra special!
We had a wonderful stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend. The thoughtful touches of gourmet cookies and dog biscuits were great. The porches and fenced yard area were so nice, and the hosts responded very quickly to any questions and communication. There was a a brief issue with the Roku, and Don was there in just a few minutes to fix it. The location is perfect. Less than five minutes to downtown but surrounded by beautiful wooded area. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Asheville.
My family and I booked the Inn, the Studios, the Mountain View Cottage, the Upper Peach, the Lower Peach (and would have booked the Georgia Belle if it had been available) in October for a family event and all the properties were exceptional. The location was perfect and it was so nice that we could all be together. Everyone enjoyed their accommodations and we cooked a large meal in the Inn, the kitchen had everything we needed! Would absolutely recommend.
What an amazing weekend in Asheville! The Asheville Swiss Chalets provided the perfect gathering spot for our 75th birthday celebration. We rented the Full Berne and had 3 dogs with us! Not only were we humans well taken care of, but the thoughtful touches (treats, bowls, towels, and sheets) for the pups were above and beyond expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing and catching up on the deck every morning and evening, and were pleasantly surprised by the quick and easy access to all the things we wanted to do. We'll definitely be back!!!!
The Romantic studio (The Garden) with a queen and a lovely bed and linens welcomed us. The Jetted tub and lovely bathroom were immaculate and filled with thick, fluffy towels.||We Made hot tea and enjoyed early time alone in the garden.l The Inn is Close enough to walk into the downtown of Weaverville, for dinner and wine —then walk back., We’d then grab our books and wine and go out to the comfortable front porch.. ( if the Inn is booked, those guests would have have access to their own porches). ||2 other rooms were booked when we were there and we’d exchange greetings with the others in passing and get on with our days. Plenty of room and parking.||Our TV was never on, but the fire was. We recharged and enjoyed the Inn’s studio. A small fridge, microwave, coffee maker were available. One night, after a long day out, we enjoyed cheese, crackers, berries, and various snacks on the front porch with wine.in lieu of dinner out.|😵💫| We will return. It was better than an Air B&B in the suburb or a hotel. The creative accommodations were part of the experience. We lingered there. ||We also spoke to restaurant owners and shop keepers in Weaverville and they all spoke very highly of the owners of this Inn.
The porch and side yard were perfect for the dogs. Aside from not letting the dogs sleep in the bed, everything was great. Close to all the things, downtown, river arts district. It was an overall good experience. Asheville Swiss Chalet is the way to go
This Inn on Main Victorian is set up for dining and seating inside and out. The kitchen has everything you want and more - only one problem, too many restaurant choices so we used the kitchen very little! I love antiques and also modern bathrooms and you have both at this Inn. It is nice to be able to walk to places like Well-bred Bakery & Cafe just down the street from the Inn and it is just a hop/skip/jump by car to Ashville. We did the trolley ride to learn about the area, another day at Biltmore and time just flew by. Even saw a mama bear with her two cubs driving through the Blue Ridge mountains of Ashville! Can't imagine the beauty of this area in peak of fall leaves...I guess another trip is called for and would definitely go back to the Ashville Swiss Chalets. The only downside to this trip is that it went by much too quickly!
Excellent stay for us and our canine companions! Perfect location within walking distance to shopping and pet-friendly dining! We stayed Thursday through Sunday and the Mountain View Cottage was perfect for four adults and four small dogs!

I rented the main room and patio of the Weaverville Community Center for my wedding, and I am so pleased with the overall experience. We had a small wedding of about 30 people, but the room could easily accommodate so many more. We had the ceremony o
What an amazing cozy cabin, perfect for 2 as we stayed in the Evergreen Cabin. It was romantic and the perfect size. Mattress was super comfy. Cabin was clean and Jacuzzi was hot. The fireplace was great.
Very close to Asheville and the Biltmore. We
Beautiful trail. A bit difficult going uphill, but worth it. Watch for yellow jackets within first half mile. Lots of wildflowers, mushrooms, and a mountain view. Dog friendly on leash.
We walked around this park daily during our stay on main street while searching for a permanent residence. It is beautiful, very nice walking paths small streams with bridges, birds, squirrels, trees with the occasional happiness stone find. (which I
Took my 6 month old shelter puppy I adopted 1 week ago to Wagbar for the first time tonight! Bought the day pass for this first try, but are definitely buying the annual pass! This is the GREATEST place EVER for off leash play & fun for the humans to
This was the best breakfast I've had in years! Waffle was light and fluffy until I coated it with butter and syrup, bacon was perfect, grits, toast and fiesta omelette just worked well together to be tasty, filling, and a party in my mouth. Our waitr
The only place we've been is Publix. That store is fantastic. The employees are very polite and helpful. The only drawback is the food prices r a little high but the meat and produce is very good.
It's always a very clean environment with good food. I usually get the Cobb salad. The only issues are 1) the drive thru line can get pretty backed up, but it's worth it and 2) the chicken breading can sometimes be a bit off.. perhaps it was prefried
