No-frills park tucked away between the Medical District and Love Field. It can feel a bit sketchy, but I've been here many times and would consider it a safe space during daylight hours for anyone who follows reasonable precautions.
It's a great place to have a little off-leash time with your dog, so long as your dog is trained for off-leash and you respect others using the park. There's a beautiful little creek running through the middle of it, which makes it quite picturesque. If you come on a rainy day, though, be warned: any place where there isn't grass, the soil is clay. It's slick, and it sticks to your shoes.
Really, I think this is a lovely little park with a lot of potential. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is the lack of amenities: I really wish it had picnic tables, restrooms, and a paved walkway circling the park. A bridge over the creek would be nice, too. But, as it is, it's a little patch of the wild, and depending on when you go, you can even have it all to yourself.
Beautiful park, and a great spot that provides a serene pocket of nature. Despite it's proximity to busy roads, the valley topography and gentle running water sounds help you forget that you're in the middle of a big city. Perfect amount of off-street parking. The grounds are being cared for and volunteers/staff can be spotted with gloves and trash bags, working to combat the loose refuse that occasional gusty winds have carried into the park area.
[This is an update to a previous rating that my phone inadvertently marked when prompted by Maps 😬🤦♀️😁]
Very nice 9 hole course tucked in a small park area. Fair amount of trees, and water hazard (deep, narrow creek) in the middle of the course. Need to jump over the water at at least 3 spots, will be tough in high water, Layout and signage is clear and easy to follow.
So in reviewing my previous rating of 2 stars I thought about whether or not the park is meeting its intended purpose. Which is a disc golf course. While that's not my thing, it is others and I think it probably meets their needs. It would benefit from a walking path for those like me who don't play, but like to enjoy the outdoors. A few more benches would be nice.
Needed a place to walk my dog and found this little gem. Really great little park. Cool Frisbee golf setup but not overrun with people, a great little park for a quiet afternoon.
Fun, technical disc golf course with large old trees with good shade on all but 2 of the 9 basket course. A small shallow stream runs through it for a water hazard. A 2nd set of alternative tees to make 18 holes. Elevation changes. Needs more litter cleanup and more frequent mowing so you're not kicking through a hayfield. Adequate parking for casual play. No restrooms. Surrounded by busy streets and it's on a take off runway for Love Field. Fast food nearby for lunch.
Good disc golf course. 9 holes, not too long but challenging for non pros.
A quiet place to just reflect and meditate. Well, until a Southwest comes roaring just above the treetops on it way into Lovefield Airport. Overall a great place to just sit and have breakfast

Like everything else in Texas, this place is huge. All the bulls are so cool to see and it is just an iconic spot in Dallas. The river wasnât running when I visited in the winter, but I can only imagine that would make the setup even cooler.
Nicole holds space for you in the most beautiful, encouraging way - guiding you clearly and effectively through various asanas and adjusting where needed. Having not been the biggest fan of online yoga classes, I have to say, Nicole has changed that

I am so SO glad Jazzercise classes were on my Christmas list (and that they were gifted to me early). I was a bit nervous at first, but soon realized that the classes are FUN and there is absolutely no judgement. I feel stronger each time I leave!
