This trail is such an incredible little slice of nature. The trail is a very mild easy hike, but with such a huge payoff! As soon as you step into the area there is a wonderful quiet peace. Everywhere you look there are giant ferns, gorgeous trees, and so many types of mushrooms all over the place! I love searching the fallen trees to see little mushroom habitats. There's also a view of a lake that often has ducks and geese. This is such a great hike if you are looking to escape to nature without having to leave town. It feels like escaping to a little slice of paradise everytime I go. It's a peaceful trail, and I've never run into others while on it. I highly recommend!
A great place for a little hike. None of the trails are more than 1/2 mile. However come within that one half mile there are many trees bushes plans much to look at. There were also several different types of berries along the path. If you're up to walking in a nature setting this is the place where they know she's yours period of course, other than the beach.
Very nice trail! It was an easy hike and dog friendly. Not too strenuous and I could see this being good for kids too! There are a few different loops you can choose from and make it as long/short as you want.
It's a gorgeous light effort trail, and this is from the perspective of myself a presently morbidly obese person trying to get healthier, just enough terrain change to get your heart rate up some but not so much you turn back soon as you walk through the archway.
Speaking of the archway it looks unassuming when you first pull up in fact if I hadn't been looking for it I probably would have missed it.
But once you step through it's like another world, you're awash in the dappled green sunlight, bird song and a sea of emerald and earth tones. I'll have to take more pictures when I go back.
Great for a daily walk trail without needing to pack for a trek through the Adirondacks.
Great little forest hike, even in the rain! Easy enough with beautiful foliage. If you get lucky you might even see some deer!
Great hiking area for a bite-sized nature hike around the area. The raspberries provide a bit of a bonus as you walk through the loop. Not a ton to look at but I left quite satisfied of the venture. Paths were clean and clear and proved no difficulty to triumph.
One of my favorite places here in Ocean Shores. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to walk and destress.
Nice trails, dog friendly, well maintained. The walk is easy to moderate, some very small inclines. Be careful of the roots on the trail as a trip hazard. Very pleasant!

Great covered picnic area. For the price ($45) and what we needed for a family gathering on Mother's Day this spot was perfect. Nice field for game playing, lots of picnic tables, bathrooms nearby, lots of parking and lots of fun trails.
We stopped in at Red Genie Pizza to meet up with family. A very welcome place & we ordered the Chicken Florentine with a garlic sauce & it was superb. Daughter & Husband ordered 1/2 Hawaiian pizza & 1/2 Cheeseburger pizza, She said it was great.

I was so happy to hear they have vegan options! They were very friendly making accommodations for my husband and I. The waiter let us know the pinto beans and rice are vegan friendly. I had the spinach enchilada platter and he had the veggie fajitas.
