Grest spot to cool down in the summer. $5 for a day pass to swim, hike, and more. They have some great overlooks of the lake. It is great to grab a picnic table and enjoy the day in the sun. The lake doesn't allow huge motors, so you font have to worry about wakes when you are out on the water.
Clearest place to swim in the area. Pretty busy on the weekend, but still plenty of room to relax. There are trees for hanging hammocks, & plenty of spots for picnicking. The bathrooms are nice, and thankfully, have outlets on the outside for blowing up large inflatables if you have an electric pump. Overall a very nice, family friendly beach.
Came here to go free diving for the first time. The water is really clear and felt almost as if I was in a swimming pool. The rocks piled on the banks are a fun place to watch sunset and maybe take a few photos. The only other part of the park I visited was the beach and it was a great place to go and relax after spending most of the day diving.
Where has this place been all my life?! One of the best Wisconsin beaches I’ve visited. The trails offer amazing views. The beach boasts changing facility, restrooms and a Cantina with burgers and dogs, ice cream and beer. The huge beach hugs an inlet, that , when filled with kiddos and inflatables, looks like a giant swimming pool.
Crystal clear water. Nice large beach with food establishment under the pavilion at the beach. Several dive spots. Beautiful scenic overlook.
Beautiful, calm, serene, crystal clear lake that also happens to be the deepest lake in Wisconsin! A former iron mine, I believe, this lake serves as an invaluable training ground for not only recreational divers but rescue divers as well. Also home to a campground, two boat landings and decks, a wide sandy beach, a few trails, and a very solid 9-hole Disc Golf Course. It is a beautiful place to visit year-round!
As residents of Black River Falls, this is our go to hike, snow shoe, explore, swim, dive, snorkel and fish spot. We love it year round with some of the best ice fishing around and an absolute escape from reality. Don’t miss out on the automotive approved (no atvs allowed in the park) paths to explore deeper reaches of the park. There is no limit to what you’ll discover in this retired iron ore mine of a park. Please be respectful of the trails and stick to them. Take out what you bring in. Clean up tackle and take personal actions to keep this beauty beautiful.
Love coming here whether it be for kayaking, hiking, swimming, fishing 🎣 etc. Water is crystal clear, and the park is well maintained throughout ❤️

We've been stopping at Dairy Way for 45 years now. My wife and I stopped when we were newlyweds and have stopped there any time we're in the area. Over the years the food has changed but the basic atmosphere never changes, small town feel, good food,

We decided to come here on Friday night for the fish fry. We were treated exceptionally well. The food was excellent, as was the service. We ran into some old friends (which was a bonus). The owners came over and greeted us and made us feel welco

The staff here is very nice, we stayed for 4 nights. And when we got a flat from a nail they even offered some help. The room was clean, and the service was all good. I definitely recommend this hotel, there are a lot of food places nearby, along wit
