Litter on both sides of the trail. Cheap plastic junk lines both sides of the trail along with nearly 200 plastic soda straws hanging off tree limbs. They even have a sign that says something like, "enjoy all the trinkets but don't take any home". More like enjoy all the garbage. Should be reported to dcnr tbh. This is not the message to be sending to kids. It's not okay to bring plastic toys into the forest and just pile them up everywhere.

Out of all the places that I hiked this year, I think this is one of my top favorites. This place is absolutely beautiful and the decorations makes it have an enchanted feeling. The Halloween setups are really cool…I took so many pictures! The butterfly garden is beautiful as well. I’m definitely coming back around Christmas time to what decorations they have up for the season. And I must say that I LOVE the little bookcase where you can donate and take books. That is such a sweet idea. And honestly, to all the people complaining about the decorations and trinkets being “plastic and cheap” and calling it “junk”, get over yourselves and stop being so bitter. Decorating the forest is a fun idea. It’s not littered with “trash.” It’s people from the community adding a personal touch to the already beautiful forest. Quit being nasty.

This is an amazing gem of a park! The landscaping, trails, pavilions and bathrooms were all clean and well cared for! We loved the trails by the stream and all of the hidden treasures to locate along the paths! Very peaceful and relaxing walk through the tall trees on a nice summer day!

It's great to always walk through and find new trinkets.

One of the best & most beautiful places to go for a walk either by yourself to clear your head or even with family. They have wooden bridges, pavilions (that you can reserve for party’s, reunions, etc....), bathrooms (that are VERY VERY CLEAN!), and a part of the trail where the stream flows and they have fish in it and you can feed them (fish food is provided!) They have a cute garden with different things in it including a geo cash! I go almost weekly to walk (except when it’s raining or snowing lol). My kids and husband LOVE coming here every chance we get!!!!!!

A beautiful location ruined by, what looks like a dumspter of junk from a dollar store dropped into the park from a helicopter. A while back the park had to make the dam, at the small fishing pond, compliant for the health of the fish. Unfortunately, having non-biodegradable straws hanging from trees and cheap plastic happy meal-type toys littering the park's trails doesn't seem to be an issue. This completely removes you from anything resembling a "nature experience," and is a real shame. The park actually has a sign to celebrate the junk. I wrestled with posting this, thinking "there's got to be some reason...maybe even sentimental," but I just can't justify what that reason could possibly be. This park desperately needs cleaned up to realize it's full potential. I hope someone reads this and realizes that it's not malicious. It's just a hopeful suggestion to improve a potentially beautiful place.

It's a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. Nice and shady too on a warm day. But watch out for Big Foot...

This place is hidden gem in Clinton County! Well maintained paths that are great for small children and the elderly. Just a enjoyable place to enjoy nature.

This is a great place to stop while snowmobiling near Potter County! I love the battered fish tenders. The service is always great and they are used to the smelly snowmobile clientele lol.
