Wayfinder Waikiki - Hotel in Honolulu - 2375 Ala Wai Blvd, USA

A nice budget hotel that doesn’t sacrifice comfort! The bed is incredibly comfortable. The location is great! Close to beach and lots of shopping. The cafe has delicious coffee, but they charge $1.50 to add vanilla to latte, which seems insane to me. The pool area is nice and has towel service. The hotel is clean. The people cleaning the rooms are top notch! For the cost, this place is great but there are some sacrifices: 1 valet is $45 per day, the only parking option 2 The rooms are small and there is a lot of street noise. In our room, the AC made an incredibly loud sucking sound periodically. We were woken by both of these numerous times. I recommend avoiding a corner room. More windows = more noise. 3 more outlets are needed on one side of the bed.

Overall Fantastic stay at the Wayfinder! Location: only a couple blocks walk to the beach! Staff: Super friendly, shout out to Z at the Lost + Found bar for all of the recommendations! Food: we had coffees and small snacks. Did not try the full menu. Parking: Yes, Valet only option. Rooms: we booked a corner with Lanai and while it sounded great and the views were nice, I have to echo other reviews and say it is quite noisy and I was awaken every night. Pool & Spa: great pool. Hot tub needs to be heated by a few more degrees. After a couple of minutes it feels like a warm bath(and nobody likes a warm bath). Overall, we would stay again.

Such a great hotel! Good location, just a short walk from everything in Waikiki from the beach to restaurants and shopping including International Marketplace and Royal Hawaiian Center. Not far from Diamond Head. Our room had an incredible view from the balcony. Clean room with comfortable bed, pillow, sheets. Excellent staff all around from the front desk to the valet & pool area, bar and housekeeping. Their coffee bar B-Side has great coffee, baked sweets and small bites. Beautiful pool area with pretty landscaping. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

We had to extend our trip due to a flight cancellation, so we booked two nights at the Wayfinder and had an absolute blast! Check in was a breeze, our room was ready before check in time and it was clean and modern. The hotel itself is beautifully updated, the light fittings are gorgeous! The staff were amazing, love that you get two drink tokens for the poolside bar and 15% discount off dinner at the restaurant. The food is fantastic, the chef is great. The pool is huge with tropical plants all around, they play chill music by the pool and the lounge chairs are so comfy, all with umbrellas. Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave! Thank you and we will be back. 😍

Updated review: there was a misunderstanding about valet/parking and they overcharged us. But Chenye at the front desk being super friendly and professional helped us resolve it. Overall the rooms are nice, clean and big, has a decent pool & Jacuzzi, all the stuff are friendly and chill. Most importantly it is very close to the beach while being affordable. Would recommend!

Recently renovated and looks amazing! Having stayed at the hotel before the renovation, this feels like an entirely different experience. Coffee at B-Side in the morning, hanging by the sun drenched pool with the family, great lunch options, multiple bars on property, all make this feel like a resort. Amenities are great and the rooms have great views of the mountains and even Diamond Head. Staff is super friendly and are always able to help. We traveled with our infant daughter and the staff had a crib set up in the room for us upon check in. Location is tough to beat and feels great to be out of the fray along Waikiki Beach, but you can walk there in just a few minutes whenever you want to go. Stellar property and will absolutely be back soon!

The staff were the nicest! From the valet to the concierge, cafe, restaurant, and housekeeping - everyone was attentive and kind. The rooms left more to be desired, there was always a mildewy smell because of the humidity. We kept the a/c running all day and night because it was uncomfortably musty when you come back after being out all day. We arrived late at night, and switched rooms last minute because we wanted 1 king instead of 2 doubles. The front desk was very accommodating. The room wasn't as clean as possible; found random hairs and some dust/dirt. The bed was comfy, and the tv had a good selection of channels. I would say the hotel was very family friendly. We had a baby with us so dirty diapers pile up quickly in the tiny trash bins. As well if you are bringing snacks/food back to the hotel, that leaves a lot of garbage too. We didn't have housekeeping the first 2 days, the garbage pile was horrendous. We had a nice view of the canal and golf course. I thought the location off the main strip was great because there was less traffic if you want to drive in or out. The hotel is a quick 4 minute walk from the strip, still pretty close to the excitement. There's an ABC store nearby so that was very convenient. We loved the pool and hot tub! Nothing beats lounging poolside with a drink and live DJ entertainment. The morning cafe was pleasant, don't have to go far for coffee. The restaurant was good too, tasty foods. Overall great value, super friendly people.

We only stayed for 4 days to celebrate an engagement and I can say that this hotel made my stay so special that I would like to stay much longer. The pool water is wonderful for cooling off, the hot tub is not too hot, the gym is complete, they have daily activities like yoga, art, live music and everything else. The restaurant had an amazing food and beer, no reason to book any other place. Thank you to the bartender, who was very sweet and funny, and to Tom who attended to us in the best possible way. I totally recommend it and I already have a special place for when I return.
