Wayfare Motel - Featured Reviews (197)
Got a king bed. Not a terribly gross room but not the best for the price. I found some roaches immediately upon walking into my room. The price for these rooms nightly is outrageous for what the motel is.
My first stay here was awesome. However last night, room 106 to be exact was a travesty. The shower had cold water. I shared the room with roaches. Uggggggg What happened I ask myself.Im glad I mentioned it to the woman at the desk. I enjoyed my first visit but not last night. Disappointed
Room was pretty clean but badly needs a remodel. Toilet was loose in the floor, cabinet door on the bathroom sink was busted and missing, bathroom door was cracked from being punched(maybe), carpet was in bad shape walls needed paint very badly, and despite being a non smoking room the mattress and comforter had cigarette burns. Lastly and arguably most importantly is the the main door to the room is not very secure. Could easily be kicked in by a weaker person. I would not have wanted to spend any time here other than to sleep which is all I did. I kept my pistol in the nightstand by the bed as the area looked shady. a lot of badly needed road construction going on. Now for the good, it was cheap and available and pretty quiet. I cant really speak for the comfort of the bed as I passed out within 5 minutes of laying down. I had been awake for 36 hour straight. I would probably stay here again if I was just going to be sleeping overnight and then leaving.
I gave this motel 5 stars because for the second time in my life, this is my home. Mrs. Patel is the greatest, my husband and I love her. Good people own this motel and will work with you if they can but if you take advantage then out you go. The rooms are kept clean and taken care of, there is cable with showtime channels. There are several options of rooms. Some with two beds and some with one. All include microwave and refrigerator. All decent rates. Family owned and run.
This is in my consideration a disgusting motel. When I entered my room I was hit with the smell of cigarettes and mold even though this was a non smoking room. There are mold spots in the shower as well as cigarette burns on the comforter and the sheets. The walls are thin so I was able to hear my neighbors complain about a heroin deal they got ripped off on the first night I was there. No shampoo or other typical amenities were included besides a single bar of soap and two plastic cups. I will not ever visit this motel again, as it is obvious this place is maintained at the absolute minimum.
Filthy. Burn wholes in the comforter, and in the floor. Just did not feel sanitary at all. I wouldn't take a shower there, no point. But if you're looking for a cheap place to rent for the night or a couple of hours with your loved one that it's hard to get time alone with. This isn't a bad place for it. Might make you feel a little like a hold when you're leaving ... But don't worry, it's just your surroundings
The staff,Sam and his lovely wife are as kind as they come. The rooms are clean and smell nice. There are a couple rude people that stsy there, but that has nothing to do with the place and owner's. Just a couple of rude guest's. Would highly recommend.😄My thanks to Sam and his family for there kindness
This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Not only was it in the ghetto but the room was small, sheets were filthy, the bathroom and towels were nasty. Everybody there is either on hard drugs or selling them. I wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me. If I could give this motel a negative star rating I would. Would not recommend to a friend hell not even my enemy.
Not just a tour, but an experience! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and warmly greeted by Christian and Beverly who provided an abundance of knowledge about the home and its rich history; truly a blessing! Although the museum is heavy
What a great place to visit. I've been telling everyone. Next time I go I will take my bike. The view off the bridge was breathtaking. So much to see. Everyone was having a great time. Lots of nice places to eat in the area.
This is a wonderful park tucked back up in the Crystal Springs subdivision in Jeff as you can see in the photos. Ample parking, huge open fields for kites or pick games of football or soccer, paved jogging/walking track. Benches and boulders are set
Ramiro's Cantina! What can I say. 4 years ago when I went to the Kentucky State Fare that was the first time I had Ramiro's Tacos. I was told that they smoke their brisket for hours to perfection in house. Last night I got to witness it for my self i
Will definitely be back! We ordered the hibachi plates. My husband ordered the steak and chicken. I ordered the chicken and shrimp and they were excellent! The Fried Dumplings were crave worthy for sure, and the Crab Rangoon, excellent! We will defin
