I had a great experience at Wayback Burgers. The chili burger was delicious, and I appreciate that everything is halal. It does get quite busy during lunch, so it's best to come early if you're looking for a seat. There's not a lot of dining in space, so takeout is the way to go. Highly recommend!
It took me a while to get over to try this place, but it’s been on my list for a bit. It was worth the wait! Arriving during non rush hours (2:30) I found them to not be busy at all, which allowed me to place my order rather quickly. The woman taking my order was super friendly, even answering some questions I had about their milkshakes without getting frustrated. I take my burgers pretty seriously & have been known to go out of my way to get one! I ordered a classic (double meat & double cheese) with just cheese, onion & pickle, which is exactly how they gave it to me!! For my side I chose the tater tots which were fried to perfection! My shake of choice was chocolate banana, I added a strawberry banana shake on the side for my wife. We both thought the shakes were pretty good. They don’t actually have flavored ice cream, but add the flavors to regular ice cream, but that’s not a complaint, as the fruit flavors were spot on. My order was prepared in just a few minutes & I was out of there in less than 8 min total, from the time I came in, that’s better than “fast food” places that have subpar food! All in all, this is definitely a great burger spot, one that I will revisit again when I’m around the area. Overall the restaurant was clean, you can tell the constantly wipe down & clean in the cooking area, everything being tidy. Thanks for not disappointing!! I definitely recommend Wayback Burgers if you want a delicious cheeseburger!
The burger was 8/10, veggie burger 8/10, milkshake red velvet 9/10. Cajun Remulade sauce is like dill and mustard was pretty good. The tenders you can pass on. The food was good. They have a lunch special. A small area to sit in.
My favorite burger spot!! I come here every week and the food is always spot on. The burgers are delicious and have a lot of options for different styles and toppings. The fries are simple but really good and reliable. They also have decent salads and release a new item every month or two. Mondays and Tuesdays they have a lunch special for a single burger with fries and a drink that’s a great deal. Staff is always very friendly and the food comes out fast. I would absolutely recommend Wayback to anyone looking for a good burger!
The staff were very nice and answered all my questions. I had the Cheeesy burger and it lived up to its name! The tater tots were nicely done and tasted great. I also tried the red velvet milkshake, which had a miniature cupcake in it. The shake was very good. I will definitely have to visit again.
I've been here three times. It's very close to my house so I like I can walk by and grab something to eat. First time I had the new red velvet shake, it was great. So good it make me come back to try the burgers. Second time, I ordered a burger, bacon and cheese fries, and a Philly cheessteak. The burger was good. Fries were lacking cheese and it barely had any bacon. Came back today again for a couple of red velvet shake. They were super watery. Nothing like a milkshake. The guy run out of whipped cream and didn't bother to open a new one, just gave us a bit of watery whipped cream from the bottom of the can and called it. Service isn't the best, the put a lot of pressure for you to rush on order even when you tell them you are taking a look to your options first. Next time I'll drive to another wayback location.
Update: they replied to my review, asked me to send an email with what happened. I reached out and no one ever get back to me again. Just a reply to pretend they care.
Food was awful, cheap meat, and very small burgers. My husband got a bourbon bacon burger. It came with the smallest piece of bacon.Cheese tots were not good either it was just nacho cheese dumped on top. Not very appetizing. 5 Guy's and Culver's is 100 times better. The women's bathroom had no toilet paper or soap. When I told the employees, they very went to put toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. I wonder how many employees went to the bathroom without washing their hands before making food? I wouldn't recommend this place.
I did enjoy the classic burger! It had a lot of flavor but fell very short for what I paid for! It was a double bacon burger and I had 2 pieces of shriveled bacon. I asked for more and instead of making the burger how it should be they threw some bacon crumbs on it! Won't go again until the quality of the food is better
