Very beautiful park, great sledding in the winter, great for walks, great variety in the scenery.
The greenhouse/canopy/mansion area is just beautiful, very well maintained, the variety in the flora is beautiful.
I usually go here with my family, either in the winter for sledding, or just to walk around with the dogs and get some fresh air with some good views.
There are a few areas which are nothing but huge grassy fields and open space, which is great for going off leash if you’ve trained your dogs to not run off, playing sports, or even picnics.
I love just walking around and taking in nature here, the aesthetics are really amazing, especially for photography!
There’s a nice lake/river right at the bottom of the hill, behind the mansion, that just stunning on nice sunny/partially cloudy days.
Aug 2023. Our 1st visit here, and while one area is under construction, the rest of the park is ok to roam around. Lots of parking and space to walk around, hike, take photos, have a picnic, etc. So stop by and smell the flowers and enjoy. And it's FREE.
I went there for a group event. Very beautiful place, ample parking. Good for a evening stroll or a group gathering.
Calm, serene, lots of open space to run around, play soccer, frisbee, run with your pets or fly a drone!
Well maintained tracks, pool, tennis and soccer fields await you.
If you are in no mood for sports, take a long stroll around and sit by the pretty natural pond to watch beautiful sunsets.
Not to forget the scenic drive to the park.
Excellent panoramic views abound in a relaxing pastoral setting. Miles of trails, ample parking and clean bathroom facilities present.
Beautiful main building, lush green fields ,parks etc.Little kids love to run after the frogs and tortoises in a small pond.
One small covered garden adding to the beauty and is a heaven for a photo session for newly weds.
Very peaceful place and one will love to sit in the shadow of a big tree for hours. One can read or write a book in such natural surroundings. I enjoyed my evening time with my grand children.
Wonderful place for a family picnic. Our toddler loved exploring the vast open grounds.
A beautiful location but good luck finding the right field for your sporting competition! Groundskeepers do an amazing job keeping everything clean and well kept. Very impressed with how well everything is taken care of throughout the grounds.
Our visit to the farm near New Canaan, just a 1.5-hour drive from NYC, was a delightful experience. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, the farm offered an array of fresh, delicious produce that epitomized farm-to-table freshness.

We went here for a late lunch after touring Glasshouse. The service was great, patio perfectly shaded and the dishes we ordered were ð¤ð¼ yummy ð¤¤. We started with guacamole and plantain chips - portion was a bit small. Then two of us got flati
The pizza was absolutely delicious. A slight crunch on the bottom and a little char on the crust with perfect fresh mozzarella. The hostess/waitress was lovely and my pizza was out so fast! Inside feels a bit cramped, but overall a great experience.
From the moment we stepped into this quaint Italian bistro, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience.

It was our first time at south end tonight and we absolutely loved everything! The octopus was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. We had the scallop risotto as well as the duck and both were fantastic. Finished off with the ricotta donuts. Sout
