Wauchula Riverside Park - Park in Wauchula - 130 Park Dr, USA

I love that the city and county decided to put a actually playground at this park, I love that it's gated also. The river is a beautiful place to just let the world fade away and watch the fish play in the flow of the water. But I have seen this entire park submerg under the river and the river rose up above the highway. Not sure how but the playground stayed intact.

For this small town this place is very cozy, it is nice to spend some time in nature, you can take your furry friend with you, I do not recommend coming too late because there are many people living hidden here, I visited it at 1pm and I did not see No one but my friend had told me that. I could see a deer and a turtle, not many animals here.

The sign is calling it a new name Crews Park. The upgrade was so needed, fantatic place now to launch kayaks. Easy way to see peace river.

Beautiful small park along side the Peace River in Wachula. Did a search on this river it actually comes all the way down to Port Charlotte and exits into the Gulf... Pretty interesting history as well.. will go back as I have a place there as well.

I'm guessing some fisherman left a few of these fish on the bank to die after clipping their fins...only to attract flies and gators. Would be nice if there was an updated date for the park renovations to be done. Interesting to see the wake rake being put in for self serve/guided kayak rentals. The playground is great.

Free to use. Launched a kayak and paddled up an almost deserted river. Peaceful and tranquil !!
