Wattstull Inn - Motel in Buchanan - 130 Arcadia Rd, USA

This is a very clean motel. The outside may not be up to speed but the rooms are fantastic. They're working on the pool area but that's okay because the views are great.

Very clean. Dog friendly. Great pool sand hot tub open 24hrs. Adarondak chairs in the patio... Also the Foot of the Mountain Cafe right down the hill is great. Are there both night and were able to take the dog. We rely enjoyed our stay.

I stay here for business and pleasure its my stop going north and out west my wife is 60 and shes stayed here as a child with her parents ,its clean ,quite, and no one bothers you at all ,the owner is as cool as they get he is good people ,the restaurant is great as well ,i would recommend to anyone ,also dog friendly , i will hate the day it closes

CLEAN. Literally. I've stayed here a few times now and it's always a delight because it's clean. The only downside is... haven't found one yet! Great view. Really good local restaurants are within 3 miles. RIGHT OFF the interstate. Literally. Good place. Good people.

Not sure what is going on??? My reservation for next week was cancelled via email without explanation. I have confirmation of payment and reservation. The phone number has also stopped working. With it being a smaller operation, I am praying everything is ok. I would like to be advised of the situation and to be reimbursed. Today I see it is marked is temporarily closed. Anyone have answers?

Stay here for a relaxing night when driving I-81. There aren't many mom and pop places like this anymore, so support them! Yes, things are old fashioned, but everything is clean and comfortable. I love parking outside my room door, no steps or elevators. There is a wonderful pool and hot tub with powerful jets that wouldn't be out of place at a hotel costing hundreds of dollars more. There are two great lounge charges outside your room under a covered porch great for relaxing and watching traffic go by with a nice mountain backdrop. It appears there is no more continental breakfast but they offer free coffee at the gas station down the hill. Tip: call to make your reservation and they may give you a cash price at a discount.

My fiance stumbled upon this place as he was traveling down Interstate 81 from Pennsylvania. We decided to give it a shot a couple of weekends ago and came back again this weekend. It has been a great experience! Not fancy by any means but the rooms are clean, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the view is beautiful! It's like stepping back into a 1950s clean, well-maintained one-story Motor Lodge. There is a pool, which is closed for the season, and a hot tub which is still open. The view of the mountains is exquisite! They are dog friendly and have two rooms that allow dogs to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful views, clean rooms, fresh air. I love the vintage look of the exterior of the property. Such a nice place and a short walk to the Foot of the Hill Cafe which is a cute restaurant that is open Wednesday through Saturday.
