Watt Hotel Rahway, Tapestry Collection by Hilton - Hotel in Rahway - 1403 Irving St, USA

Stayed here for 9 days before the holidays and thought it was great! The room was nice. Housekeeping was on the floor daily so was able to change out towels and replenish any items. Hotel is located across the street from train station so getting into nyc is a breeze. The hotel has a bar and serves food however there are some great restaurants located a short walk. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at the Watt many times as we travel up to Jersey from Hilton Head SC to visit family. We are originally from Jersey so we enjoy traveling back up as often as we can for holidays and special events and our choice of places to stay is The Watt. From the minute you arrive you are greeted by Anthony at the check in desk. Anthony is very pleasant and makes the check in process extremely smooth. He’s very helpful and answers any questions you may have. He can give suggestions for the many restaurants in walking distance if you choose to venture out and not stay at the hotel to grab a bite. Naomi and her fantastic team took amazing care of us! My husband called ahead to see if it was possible to have some sort of "romance package" awaiting us in our room. This isn't something the Watt advertises or typically does, but Naomi readily took on the challenge and curated the most precious celebration welcome! We arrived in our sleek, modern, comfortable room to find a gorgeous charcuterie board, fruit & chocolate tray, prosecco, and a handwritten card!|This level of personalized service and attention to detail sets Naomi and her team apat. The Watt is set in an up-and- coming, gentrified area of Rahway. There's a great mix of old and new. It was fun to walk around the neighborhood, then come back to delicious freshly prepared food and superb drinks at the cozy bar while the Jazz band played softly in the background. Should we need to come back to this area of NJ, I will excitedly book my stay here!

Would echo another reviewers' comments below with my own "Hotel is located in a not-so-welcoming neighborhood. Rooms are ok and very poorly designed. No closets in the room; just open hanger bar next to bed. Staff is unhelpful and the property owner is very rude and disrespectful. DO NOT STAY HERE!". |The staff was rude and unhelpful, they ignored our request for service. This hotel looks like an add-on to a condo development and the service has an add-on feel as well. Additionally, there is an all-pervasive smell and vibe of cannabis and marijuana. Save your money and choose another property.

Super convenient to train station into Newark or NYC. Parking cost me $9 for about 12 hours which is less than I would have paid at another close NJ transit station. Hotel was nicely appointed and clean. Didn't have a chance to use my food & beverage credit or other amenities.

This hotel was perfect for our stay! It is very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would say is the rooms can use a hallway runner and a rug in the bed/lounge chair area. Otherwise this hotel was a great stay! Looking forward to staying again in the future

Cute modern hotel located in Rahway, NJ so it's a quick ride from midtown if you catch the NJ Transit train. Once you get there, there are tons of cute restaurants around the hotel. The hotel does offer events like Jazz Nights if you want to check that out. They also have a bar and a rooftop that has a view of New Jersey and New York. The room was a really large size but I wish the bed were a bit more comfortable.

The hotel was safe and clean, and most of the staff was friendly. But it was not worth the price. With taxes and all that, we paid $200 per night... but got there and found that there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. And the TV did not work, and there was no one there that knew what to do. And the hot water was not really so hot, a disappointment in the winter. And the only place (really the only place) to park is a municipal parking garage that charged $14 per day. So, it really is a very bare-bones hotel at an extraordinary price. A Motel 6 would give you much more value for half the price. I would not stay there again unless the price was significantly less. Or at least the room reflected something of the price I was paying.
