Waterstone Inn - Bed & breakfast in Greenwood Lake - 62 Sterling Rd, USA

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying here. Very homey, family oriented B&B. Maureen and her staff/family are very welcoming. Great breakfast, easy access to the lake with Kayaks/Waterboards. We would and WILL absolutely come back here to stay in the future.

My husband and I rented out the Waterstone Inn as well as the cottage for our guests to stay for our wedding. All of the rooms are absolutely comfortable and beautiful! The property is quite with decks that have a great view of the lake. What impressed me most of all was the flexibility that the owner as well as the staff had to accommodate us and our guest. The breakfasts were amazing and added the final touch to our experience. Thank you Maureen, Christine & Tara for making our stay special! All of you efforts make the the difference. :)

Oh my goodness, what a piece of heaven! This was our second trip to the Waterstone Inn and we will back. |The Inn is absolutely spotless, the hospitality immeasurable, no request neither too great nor too small. |And the bed? Well, the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby and I do not sleep well :) |Location, two minutes from everything. Breakfast, served by the energetic ever-smiling Christine, is perfect, home made breads, jams, crispy bacon, and fresh eggs. We couldn't get enough. |Sunset sitting outside was relaxing and the air, fresh and clean. |We were there for just a few nights, but it might as well have been two weeks, we left feeling so refreshed. I had the amazing opportunity to be taken on a jet ski along the lake and I can still feel the wind in my face and the excitement of going so fast - talk about blowing the cobwebs off!|All in all, one of the best and most relaxing places we've been to, and we've been to many. We cannot recommend enough.

Lovely getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Waterstone Inn. The warm and gracious hospitality at this family-run B&B exceeded our expectations. Our room was sunlit, spacious, comfortable and clean, with a lovely view. The Fall foliage was spectacular and Greenwood Lake is truly a hidden gem. Maureen was personable, informative, accommodating and a wonderful host, giving attention to details that made for a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Thanks, Christine! Emerald Point Restaurant was within walking distance for a great dinner. We hope to return and take advantage of all the area has to offer.

We stayed here for 4 nights with another couple to do some sightseeing and wine tours. Our rooms were immaculate and nicely furnished. Both had lake views. The innkeeper was so excited about her Inn and Greenwood Lake area. She was so helpful with suggestions on things to do and restaurants. We started our day with a great breakfast. We hope to return to this area and definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed more than once. It's a quaint slice of serenity located at the lake. The place is clean quiet and family owned. If your an early morning rider, it's nice to make a cup of coffee and go sit on the dock. Breakfast times are not set in stone but 8am is a good time. Let's not forget there's plenty to do in the area from living farms to pick vegetables, apples, pumpkins or whatever is in season. Not to mention local wineries, shops and restaurants. If your looking for a place to unplugg, or a place to stay and launch your boat, it's a great place. Two thumbs up.

We were looking for a peaceful getaway for a few days, and got so much more! The Waterstone Inn is a stunning Victorian style home overlooking Greenwood Lake, in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The rooms and suites have been updated with all the modern conveniences, including private baths and whirlpool tubs in each room, and the accommodations were spotless and luxurious. Our host for the week was Christine, who personally made sure we had everything we could possibly need and made us feel like family. The Mulcahys, owners of the Inn, are long time residents of the area and are always nearby if you need a recommendation. Every day we were treated to a different homemade breakfast, cooked to order, in the lovely dining room over looking the lake. If you are looking for someplace to relax and de-stress, this is it. If you would prefer to be active, there is bicycling, hiking and swimming, all in walking distance. Nearby you can find paddle boards or motor boats for rent. If fine dining is your goal, Greenwood Lake and surrounding Warwick is heaven. The Helm is a nearby favorite, with gourmet food in a pub like setting. You can find authentic German food at Breezy Point, or fine American fare and fireside tables at Emerald Point. The Waterstone Inn is the perfect spot for all seasons, and we are thankful for the opportunity to stay at this lovely home.
