Nice place and pet friendly. Pets are supposed to be leashed at all times. However, some people don't obey that. I don't blame management as they can't be everywhere at all times to know that some people can't follow basic rules. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area for work again.

Nice campsite and very clean. Many seasonal sites and lots of golf carts driving around, but everyone waves and smiles. Felt very welcome. Heated swimming pool, walking trails... Stayed 4 nights and 5 days in July.

This is an amazing campground, the upkeep is top notch and even at it's busiest, it's still relatively quiet in the evening. The pool is heated and as clean as it gets. You feel like you are deep in the mountains, yet close to the stores that you may need. The fishing is great, both in the river and the canal. It's worth checking out.

I stayed at Waterside in 2021 while on a camping/biking trip. I don't usually like camping at private campgrounds because I prefer a more natural setting with more trees and more distance from the neighbors. However, I didn't have a problem in the cabin here since it faces away from the RVs and it was quite clean and comfortable. Is it a shed made into a cabin? Yes. But for someone like me who usually stays in PA State Park camping cottages on these trips, it was exactly what I was looking for. And unlike those cottages, the cabins at Waterside have A/C, which makes a trip in the heat of the summer a lot more pleasurable. The bath house was a bit primitive, but clean. The showers take quarters, so make sure you have some on hand. I didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice. The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. There's a little store at the entrance for firewood and basic needs, which is a huge help and frankly something the state parks should consider so they can make some money and people can get small necessities without driving 5 miles. There are a lot of places to hike and bike in the area, and when I get back to conquer some more of them, I'll have no hesitation about renting a cabin from Waterside again.

Nice well maintained and managed campground. Super clean bathrooms. Was surprised you had to pay a quarter to shower. The riverfront sites are also a nice size.

Very nice campground! We will return, Definitely recommend! Pros: Sites are large and nice All hookups are in the same spot Very clean Organized Gated entrance Cons: ATT and Verizon service is weak Park could be bigger for the kids and another park in the lower area.

The facility it self was nice. Clean bathrooms and showers (you have to pay). They had an air conditioned game room with a pool table. The pool was refreshing. We tent camped and it felt like we weren't apart of the campground. The sites were on the other side of the creek with no restrooms on that side. The flies and bees were terrible at our site. There was a food truck on site!

These people are absolute crooks.. I'm from out of town working here and they knew I had to move out of my hotel for the weekend for the Penn State white out game and they took complete advantage of me and my working buddy.. They charged us $450 for 3 nights in a portable building with no bathroom and no heat. This place is filled with RV's and people who live there full time (No clue how) Anyway they make you pay for the shower in a public restroom that's absolutely freezing and get this. The water went cold after only 3 or 4 minutes from the time I began.. I can't imagine how it is when there's a foot or 2 of snow.. We are in Pennsylvania up in the Apalachician mountains so it gets extremely cold here.. How can they not have any compassion for the very people who over pay for this place I'll never know.. Having no bathroom in the tiny room is terrible considering you have to walk 1/2 a mile to use it,smh. Get it together people. Have some sort of compassion and stop trying to get rich in such a horrible way.. Add restrooms to your so called cabins (very tiny portable buildings) for heavens sake.. I definitely do not recommend this place in the least..
