What a beautiful, unique B&B! They have a vast collection of both antiques and modern art/collections. Jack and Matthew were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. And the location is perfect. We brought our fold up bikes and rode around the neighborhood and downtown - just a few minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful stay and experience.

My wife and I have been staying at Watershill since we discovered this gem of a B&B in the early 2000's. Jack and Mathew are lovely people and wonderful hosts. Their home is a beautifully restored Victorian house, lovingly decorated with antiques and collectibles. Jack's breakfasts are just perfect. There is always a fruit course with juice and an interesting hot creation. It is a pleasure to sit with Jack (and Mathew if it's not a work day) and converse. This is not a place for people who don't enjoy conversation and whose taste in breakfast food is more appropriate for a chain motel. We love Brunswick and the Golden Isles and hope to be able to stay at Watershill B&B for many years to come.

We spent 2 nights this past weekend along with another couple at Waters Hill B&B. This was our first time visiting Brunswick and the Golden Isles. Though I had a good feeling when I booked this beautiful inn, it exceeded my expectations. This charming Victorian home is large, yet still very cozy because of the tasteful furnishings which are lovely with many conversation pieces. If I lived here, I don’t think I’d want to ever go anywhere. It’s that wonderful! Our hosts, Mathew and Jack, were so warm and welcoming. We immensely enjoyed their hospitality as well as their company and humor. We enjoyed breakfasts which were just delicious and more than plentiful…and very importantly, their coffee was top notch😋. Our bedroom was downstairs and our friends had an upstairs bedroom, both of which were clean with very comfortable bedding and pillows. Our friends will be moving to a town less than an hour away, which will again give us the perfect opportunity to make our way to stay with Mathew and Jack and again enjoy all of the southern charm in this delightful B&B, nestled in a lovely historical neighborhood. I cannot recommend Waters Hill highly enough!

We always stay here when we're in Georgia. In fact, we come to this part of the world specifically to enjoy Brunswick, the Golden Isles and especially Watershill where the hosts make us feel like we're home. There is always a 2 course breakfast - a light fruit dish with juice, followed by something a little more substantial (like the exquisite biscuits and gravy or cheesy grit cake) that sticks to your ribs and keeps you going until lunch. We go for a brisk walk around town and then head off for the day to one of the beautiful and interesting nearby attractions (Driftwood Beach, Fort Frederica, Georgia Sea Turtle Center, St. Simon's Lighthouse). ||One of the most wonderful things we enjoy is sitting around the table with the owners and other guests, and having great conversation over breakfast and coffee. I can't tell you how many times I've been at that table for hours - just hearing (and telling) stories, which I've dined out on for years. This last time, we met a lovely couple from Michigan - she is an artist and he is a musician - they were making their way around the country in an RV. We had the loveliest time at the breakfast table, my favorite spot to get to know people and make those all-important cultural exchanges. ||Thank goodness I was raised to appreciate conversation at the table because I've learned so much that way in my travels all over the world. Watershill is for people who enjoy the finer things in life.

My wife and I stayed here recently on our first trip to the area - the only reason we'd ever come back would be to spend time at this wonderful home. Jack and Matthew simply could not be better hosts. Our suite, Mittie Eugene, was (like the rest of the house) packed with antiques and collectibles. Bed was very comfortable and, despite an unfortunate heating system failure on one of the coldest nights in the area's history (quickly remedied with a space heater) our 3 nights here were the absolute highlight of our entire trip. We had to cut our visit short by a night due to a potential family emergency and our hosts graciously accommodated us. As others have said, it really was hard to leave. The breakfasts were amazing, but more than that, the stories and obvious care for their guests made this a memorable stay. All this, and the price is outrageously low. The house and the hospitality are not to be missed. We cannot recommend WatersHill enough! One caveat, as Jack will tell you, there are 8 sofas, not one of which is comfortable. I wish more than 5 circles could be given. I took plenty of photos, but none will add to the array already posted. Go and Enjoy! Several of the hotel related questions asked below don't apply - this is a Bed and Breakfast run by two owners who live on site.

We had a great stay at Watershill B&B! Perfectly located around all that we wanted to do on Saint Simons and Brunswick. The room was perfect and very inviting. Breakfast was a delight with both the food and the company - really enjoyed our visit with Jack and Matthew, our hosts. The front porch and deck in the back were perfect places to relax in the evenings. The B&B is close to down town, easy for dining and seeing Brunswick. The B&B was also the perfect place to be able to go visit the more tourist areas of Saint Simons and then escape back to a relaxed place to stay! We brought our bikes, found many places on Saint Simons to explore, walked the beaches, and enjoyed the museums. Much needed Weekend Away!

Stayed here for one day. The home and furnishings are beautiful and a great place if you’re on a honeymoon. When I woke up and entered the dining room their dining room table was empty , there was not a single bun, roll, cookies or bread. The only thing on the table was a plate with tiny mandarin orange slices that tasted like they just got it from a can with all the preservative juices with it and topped off with a dab of yogurt. Both owners sat down at the table in front of me and made it very uncomfortable because they decided to start asking me questions and not really giving me time to eat. When I was done with the sweet gross orange slices they brought out this hockey puck of a thing that was made with scrambled eggs and some gross partly frozen beef or corn hash? It was topped off with a Mexican salsa. While I was trying to force down this gross egg dish one of the owners asked me “ were ya from “ and I answered Florida. I was originally born in NJ and try to stay away from the people in the south who are still a bit confederate. After talking for a few more minutes the same owner asked me “ no, where are you really from” I said originally from NJ and fortunately it was time to leave. After he asked the second time it got uncomfortable and here I am telling these two owners why I don’t tell people in the south I’m from NJ because some people still hold on to this civil war thing and have not evolved. When I left this place I went to work and I was working in an event for the town. I saw one of the B&B owners at the event and turns out he works for the town. He was a jerk and wouldn’t even say hello to me after I said hello to him. Overall, not respectful and these air B&Bs in the United States need to learn from British B&Bs. Leave people alone, let them eat and put some damn buns on the table.

We had never been to Brunswick before. We went to visit friends who were visiting friends there. The old Victorian town is really a great place to visit full of Southern charm. Our friends recommended that we stay at Waters Hill B & B. Our stay there was perfect from start to finish. The accommodations were beautiful and sparkling clean. The breakfasts were to die for. Mouthwatering southern delights. And our hosts, Jack and Matthew could not have been more warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back next year. We would highly recommend this B&B.
