We should have known this place is a joke after seeing the Heirloom Tomato Caprese. For $19 we got HALF of a tiny burrata. And then come artisan bread and butter with non toasted bread. Then come dried up flavorless pork tenderloin and salty meatloaf. We couldn't get out of there fast enough after the meal. Old World Chophouse, which is a block away is farrrr better with similar price point. Never again

Took my hubby here for his bday! He loved it. Easy reservation through Tock and the reservation money was refunded on the bill. I appreciate that. Liked the halibut and flourless cake!

Watershed was a delight - highly recommend. The reservation system was easy to use. Service was really good and their menu is delicious. I tried their meatloaf and it really was delicious. We also had the heirloom tomatoes. We splurged on their desserts and got the chocolate cake and cobler - mega sugar overload.

Thank you for hosting us! We sat outside and enjoyed the views of the town and mountain. Our server was kind, authentic and attentive. Bruschettas with salmon were delicious! I had the meatloaf and it was ok. A bit salty and overwhelmed the lovely mashed potatoes. Potatoes are cheap, I recommend evening out your proportions. Reduce meatloaf by 1/3 and increase potatoes by a 1/3. My husband was happy enough with his pork tenderloin. We had Crème brûlée for dessert and it was delicious. Perhaps a more generous portion or a reduction in price. Overall it was a good experience for sure. I love that you answer your reviews! Shows that you care and are careful when "some" people's reviews are obviously not going to be happy anywhere. You're doing great! Keep up the good work! Embarrassingly disappointing and would never recommend this place. On our way out I even had to ask if this restaurant was privately owned, or owned by investors, because I was that shocked by our experience and figured it had to be investors that didn’t care that much, because ultimately this review won’t do anything and people will continue to flood Leavenworth (restaurant privately owned I was told). We had to send two items back for smelling and tasting like dog water, for a fairly expensive drink (the ice was cloudy and smelled of sulfur for whiskey) and then ordered the tuna “carpaccio” to literally be served a whole box of arugula with 2 slivers of an onion and 3 piece of paper thin tuna to be the carpaccio. I wish I took a photo before we sent this back. I even asked the waitress to explain the dish to me, which she just said “I really don’t know”. Also, not one of our dishes looked or were composed how they were said to be online. And for the price point you’re paying in this town, it really should be. We joked about everything and managed to still have a good time, but no one even came to our table to acknowledge the incidences or apologize, which I’ve never experienced. For someplace that’s privately owned, usually the owner or manager will come over and see what they can do to make an experience better. Instead we were just met with annoyance and a slight passive aggressiveness. I noticed another review say to go to the Old World Chophouse instead, and I second it, they were great. Also as a side note, I was hoping for a better ambience of the restaurant with more decor. There’s not a whole lot going on, but it’s neat you can see into the kitchen and it’s a sizable restaurant. I just hoped for better quality of the service and food for the experience you pay for in not only being in Leavenworth, but dining at a “farm to table” restaurant, which is fair and valid.

Food was pretty good, but the prices are very high for what you get. $40 for a sweet potato dish, $43 for a chicken breast with bacon, $20 bruschetta, etc. portions were normal healthy ones, but definitely not large. The food is well executed, but you can get food that’s just as good for $20-$25 per main elsewhere so spending $40 here is a raw deal. Service and atmosphere were nice, but didn’t justify the added cost.

My wife and I had a reservation this past weekend hoping to have a nice meal during our weekend trip to Leavenworth. After we were seated, we were completely ignored for 30 minutes. No one stopped by to say hello or even take our drink order. The restaurant did not seem particularly busy and there were many empty tables. The last straw was when we noticed that guests who had been seated after us were being attended. We walked way from our table and let the host know that we would be leaving. We were assured that we would receive a refund for the deposit we paid to make the reservation. However, we did not receive our refund and had to email the restaurant to remind them. We have never felt so unwelcome at an establishment before. We will make sure to avoid dining at Watershed Cafe during future visits to Leavenworth and will suggest the same to our friends. EDIT: To respond to the owners rude comment; we did not talk over email. We sent the reminder about the refund and we received a response letting us know that the refund had now been issued and an apology for the delay on the refund. There was no apology about the terrible service we received. It would be wise for the owner of this place to take in feedback with grace and fix their issues if they want to continue with their business.

We had a strange experience here. We were a work group ordering a lot —-apps, salads, entrees, drinks. We were the only group sitting in the bar. After two hours, we asked to order a third bottle of wine and the young waitress insinuated we needed to be cut off (from drinking,) and then didn’t return. We were all so taken aback by that, we just sat in silence. We had been having fun together, laughing and joking around — however, no one in our group had over two drinks in two hours, and we were eating plenty of food. I don’t think anyone was feeling the alcohol let alone needing to be cut off. Because of that strange interaction, we just decided to leave. We paid our already $700 bill and changed locations to spend our money elsewhere for wine and dessert. Other things to note — the bar area is incredibly hot, and it was close to unbearable. Also, my pork tenderloin was overcooked and unseasoned. The cheese plate appetizer was strangely small. The tuna carpaccio salad was basically a pile of arugala. If the food was good, I could overlook the judgement of that waitress…. However, I see no reason to return and wouldn’t recommend.

Nice friendly staff and service. Food portions are huge compered to the Seattle area aka Bellevue restaurants. Ordered pretzel it was a bit soggy because of the sauerkraut was placed on top; however, the food overall was very good and tasty.
