Water's Edge Ocean Resort - Resort hotel in Wildwood Crest - 5600 Beach Avenue &, E Buttercup Rd, USA

Came to Waters Edge with family that has never been here,they live in Florida. They were so happy with everything especially the location that we are coming back next year, already booked. There is an older Maintenance man with gray/white hair that is so knowledgeable and helpful. He made us stay with his humor and always a smile on his face. The office staff so very nice,also. We had a wonderful time on our vacation! The Hotel was absolutely lovely. The rooms were clean and were a very nice size. Hotel was close to the boardwalk and the pool area was great. We could sit on our balcony and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Plenty of good restaurants around as well. Will definitely be booking again next year.

Just finished another family vacation here. 5 stars all around. The staff is super friendly. Rooms are very clean, and taken care of daily. We look forward to coming here every year. If looking for a place for a great vacation, this place should definitely be on your list. Sofa can be updated, other then that.....

First Time staying at the Water Edge and it was amazing!!! The beach front view is perfect! The proximity to the beach perfect!!! We were at the second floor over the pool, it can get quite loud at the end of the day, but at 7 p.m. back to calm. There are a couples of games available on the Deck, we enjoyed it! We had a type C Room to be able to eat at the motel as much as possible and we found that they were a bunch of items missing : cutting board, mesuring cups (nothing fancy just for coffee and alcool 😅), cisors. Also we had to buy dish soap, it was not refill enough. The air conditionning is cold! So we were sleeping with hoodie on, because if we stooped it, it became to humid. The room was clean and we could have the service everyday and when something was missing it was easy to have it. The staff is super Nice!!! The lady at the front desk were so kind! She let my daughter pet Mia the super cute dog a couples of times. We will stay there again for sure!!!

We've stayed at the Water's Edge for at least 5 vacations now and keep coming back for the proximity to the beautiful beach, the family-friendly WildWood activities, the comfort, the cleanliness of the rooms and the exceptional service. We are always welcomed and to give you an example this year the dishwasher in our kitchenette stopped working and someone was sent to check it immediately after we went to report the problem. The dishwasher pump seemed to be broken and we were told that they would try to repair it during the day. Finally, when we returned to the room after our day at the beach, a brand new dishwasher had already been installed. What an excellent service!

We have been staying at the Water's Edge for over 16 years. Location is awesome. two blocks from the boardwalk so you save at least $20 a night for boardwalk parking. The hotel is across a service road to the beach. Love the family owned hotel. The staff is very nice, helpful and remember you from year to year. The place is always clean and every year they do upgrades. In the "E" room we stayed in they replaced the carpet in the hallway and living/dinning room area with wood floor. Already booked our family vacation for next year.

A pleasant stay. Very clean and comfortable and all updated. Close to boardwalk, restaurants and bike rentals. Staff so friendly. Was a short trip wish we could of stayed longer. Hoping to book again this year. Thank you. (only thing is the bathroom by pool wish was more appealing, I appreciate it is there for guests that dont have rooms yet or staying longer day of checkout). Maybe better flooring would do it.

This place is located right across from the beach and a block from the boardwalk, but still in the Crest, which is nicer. This is the second time we have stayed there and we enjoyed both visits. Rooms are cleaned daily. Pool is heated. It's located perfectly for a family. Great views from the second story patio. If there is only one drawback, it would be that the air conditioning settings are only low, medium, and high. I had mine on the warmer setting and I was still freezing at night, but that was just me, the rest of the family was fine. If you tend to be cold,pack a camp blanket with you.
