Nice trail that goes along the river and has access to a few small, and beaches along the Columbia River. There are great views of the river and the bridge. There are also restaurants at either end of the trail. It's beautiful in the spring and summer. It can be pretty chilly but still nice in the winter.

Any trail, park, or historic site along the Columbia River, in my opinion, is absolutely stunning year-round! There is seriously no bad time to go. The Waterfront Renaissance Trail is off the north bank of the Columbia River and is truly picturesque! It is a 5 mile one way paved trail, so it is excellent for walking, jogging, biking, and so much more! You can vere off the main trail, like I always do, and hike along the sandy beaches of the river, which are lined with driftwood and colorful river rocks. As you walk this trail, you will come across several restaurants and shopping areas, too, because it is close proximity to downtown Vancouver. In fact, some of the most fascinating eateries in Vancouver can be found here. The options are endless. Ducks and geese can be seen in abundance, as you will be able to see from my photos/videos. Planes fly overhead consistently; getting ready to land at Portland International Airport, so they will be flying both low and slow. There is also a train track across the street from the Renaissance Trail, so if you have young children, they will just love this! And the sunsets... The sunsets here are seriously a photographers dream! The sun setting over the river is a sight to behold! It's actually my favorite spot to watch the sun set. If that were not enough to peak your interests, on a clear day, you will get the most magnificent views of Mt. Hood! I consider this area a slice of heaven, so I highly recommend checking it out for yourself. It is not crowded, so if you are in need of some serenity, you will find it here. There are benches throughout the trail that allow you to soak in the scenery. There truly is something for all ages. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Very nice place to go for a nice walk. It was raining when I was there but it was still beautiful. I will definitely return when the weather is better.

There is a fixer upper boat near the beach. A fun little walk area not too far from Downtown Vancouver. Seems safe and has a local McMenamins if you're looking to eat while out there. Don't forget your sunscreen.

good park. Along the river you can walk and ride a bike. There are places to sit and tables too. you can sit on the grass. there is a place for fishing. parking a few. There are small clearings where you can play different games. suitable for children, for different age groups. hot weather is cool here. I like it here. 👍

I wish Portland would make more public friendly areas along the waterfront to mirror Vancouver. I love taking my dog over here for walks.

Always a beautiful walk or bike ride. Plenty of parking. I use this trail almost every day while in town. Great walk any season of the year. Just finished a brisk New Years 2022 walk . Windy , cold , invigorating and beautiful.
