We came here for a picnic while returning to MA from Salisbury beach. The park was very well maintained and the waterfront view was good. Parking was $1 per hour and also plenty of option nearby. Overall we spent an hour an d half here and enjoyed the family time here.

Nice day trip. This park area has a boardwalk by the water. There's plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the views. There are art sculptures and green areas. Within walking distance there are plenty of small shops and eateries. You can buy souvenirs and saltwater taffy. A fun place by the water. Please give a thumbs up for this review.

This is a frequent spot for our family. It’s great for walks or snagging a seat to people watch or read a book (there’s a free little library nearby!)

This place amazing to see. It was Saturday afternoon and no plans for the day. I decided to go to the Waterfront Park. Truly Incredible to visit and so much to do. Once we arrived we parked in the public parking lot. Our journey began with stopping at the theater. There was an Art Show taking place. A young lady greeted us at the door. She was kind and friendly from the start. Opening the door and holding it for us while welcoming us to the Art Show. She waved the admission to enter too. We enjoyed meeting the photographer who the event was for she was warm and friendly. Introducing us to her work and telling us the history of the photos she displayed and why she choose them. After the show we went to the waterfront park. This was another beautiful place to see. So peaceful and exciting to see. I highly recommend it and the pictures I took will explain why? Please take the time to visit this place with your family, friends and children too. There is a restaurant attached and I wish I got the name of it and it’s employees. This was another interesting place to visit. The two people I interacted with deserve praises. I entered the restaurant to use the restroom and was greeted by a gentleman who had high spirits and courteous. Being with a handicapped friend in a wheelchair he had to use the restroom the gentleman was eager to assist me while entering and welcoming us at the same time. As he gave us directions to the restroom we were soon greeted by the female bartender who was young and very exciting to interact with while coming from behind the bar to assist us. She have a lovely and warm smile. These two people are what makes a restaurant experience so exciting. The customer service was beyond expected.

Cutest of shopping villages. Always an amazing stop off for half a day or more.

Beautiful boardwalk with plenty of benches right on Merrimack River. Great people watching place. No bikes on boardwalk and dogs must be on a leash. Close to downtown and pay parking lots nearby.

Beautifully laid out park. The sitting areas and many benched along the boardwalk make for the best spots to sit and ponder your thoughts! What a beautiful park to go and sit and enjoy the wonderful views of the waterfront.

Salisbury granite train bridge! Awesome. A bit of artic exploration history standing in the Newburyport park. Who would-a thunk! Terrific Hodgdon motor launch from the early 1950's. Built by one of the oldest wooden boatyards in the US in East Boothbay Maine. What else could a New England explorer want during Covid 19???
