A great playground for kids young and old(er). Multiple play areas with lots of slides and swings. We were visiting for the New Year's Eve event and needed something to do in the morning. This park entertained our kids for well over an hour and we only left because it got cold. The only unfortunate part was the lack of trash cans close to the playground. There were some around the walking sidewalks, but the picnic tables around the playground all had trash around them because people didn't want to walk the distance to the trash cans.
My daughter and I visited the park to see the sculptures and had the best time. It was such a beautiful day with a slight breeze. The sculptures were an absolute treasure. It was great getting to know so much about the history of not only Ludington, but our great state of Michigan.
nice park with some cool sculptures and a good view of the Badger
A big park for a town with a lot of artwork, sculptures, and educational plates. Picknick tables are in shade, and restrooms with running water are close to a big playground. You can reserve the park for events!!!
Great place to take kids, watch the ferry come in or leave. Nice marina. Great play ground for the kids.
This is a great place. The park is medium size but with something for everyone. It's nestled in between two marinas, the municipal marina and the Harbor View marina, with Pere Marquette Lake waterfront and lovely views in all directions. Many sculptures are scattered around in the park. There's a large playground for kiddos. Lots of benches and tables can be found all around. There's even a gazebo with five tables underneath. Restrooms and an amphitheater is available as well. Edit: Added pictures, Oct 2022.
A very pretty park with nice art sculptures, a playground, and beautiful views of a marina, the river, and the car ferry the Badger.
Such a wonderful park! Perfectly manicured lawns, play park for the little ones and the sculpture walk is gorgeous! Use the QR code on any of the signs to pull up the sculpture on your phone. The marina is a perfect backdrop to the view. Picnic tables and grills are by the parking lot for easy bbq. Stay until 7-730pm and watch the SS Badger pull back into port, it is an experience!

This was exactly what I was looking for. Visiting my old high school area and family with no internet makes getting my computer related work hard to do while visiting Ludington. I needed a place to enjoy a beverage while having space to check my comp
The hike (for me) was a nice experience with occasional breaks and snack and drinks you must take, and some doggies were along with some people, so petting one was therapeutic! one lady left strange tracks and she finally came back on a battery wheel
Love this place, I've never got the chance to camp here but I have spent some days here. Love the hiking here. Beautiful scenery. Family-friendly trails. They have kayaks to rent at the main part of the park.
Nice small park that's mainly just the beach. Parking is right next to the beach and the beach is very accessible. There are two porta potties at the parking lot. There is nothing else though. The park side of the beach connects to the Buttersville c
The fresh-caught Michigan fish is AMAZING!!! We tried them all: walleye, lake perch, and whitefish. My personal favorite was the walleye, but they were all delicious. The deep fried option was exceptional. Not at all greasy. Light and crispy. Outstan
We had heard good things about Qs. However, we were a bit nervous when we walked in at 5pm on a Friday to a completely empty restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and we ordered ribs, pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, brisket, Mac n cheese,
Revised Review (4/28/22): This Motel has since changed owners. Reservations are much more expensive and include other fees such as booking and cleaning fees. Additionally, they offer limited cancellation flexibility. Very sad this gem has changed it
An awesome food truck at the US 10 spot in Ludddington. We came for dinner and saw they had food trucks so we stopped. Super cool that they have this. The dogs were cheap and delicious. All dogs are made to order which is great. The staff were re
