Wow!!! Waterfront on Glacier is amazing! The room we stayed in was beautiful! We loved the rustic feel of the beautiful woodwork, the bed was so comfortable, the location was perfect. We were near downtown, on the Harbour, shopping was convenient, and many nearby restaurants. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. We saw waterfalls, and snowcapped mountain. I took morning walks, and enjoyed the scenery.
My third trip to Juneau in 2 years and this is by far the nicest place in town. The views can’t be beat and the location is perfect, being close enough to walk to every thing you need without being right in the middle of the tourist sector when a million people flood off the cruise ships… I travel to Juneau often for business and the rooms with full kitchens and laundry make longer stays a breeze. I won’t be staying anywhere else on future trips, and plan to bring the entire family here on the next trip for an extended vacation.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to be one of the first guests of the newly renovated Waterfront on Glacier as it continues its 'soft opening'. Although not fully open at this moment, they are taking reservations on a limited basis. This place is going to be THE premier Boutique upscale property in Juneau without a doubt. Beautiful wood finishing and flooring throughout with a classic retro feel to what was formally a 'Motel'. The bed was amazing and the staff literally bent over backwards to assist us during our two-day stay. We had a Sea View suite but, with this location I would have been just as happy to have a Mountain View room! Close to all in Juneau and we will definitely come when they have the restaurant open as well. In summary: Modern yet Rustic, down-home feel with upscale flair!
High quality materials, no expense spared renovating entire hotel, dedicated caring personalized staff & owner. Highly recommend waterfront location harbor view near downtown. Many coming soon amenities in process during our stay and looking forward to a return visit
We booked this hotel for 2 nights prior to boarding our cruise ship. The host, Rick, was extremely helpful, very friendly & accommodating. The newly reno'd rooms have an esthetic in keeping with the rustic Alaskan vibe w. all the live edge headboards, countertops & tables. Beds were exceedingly comfy. All the upscale linens are 100% cotton and Oeko Tex certified (sorry, but I'm a textile geek!). The efficiency style kitchenettes feature a mid-size fridge, 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, S/S sink & upscale coffeemaker. Location is so-so if you want to be near any restaurants, it's about a 3/4 mi. walk to downtown on safe sidewalks with marked crossings. My main issue is noise levels. The doors are super thin. Our king waterfront room had an adjoining room and we could hear every word that the guests next to us were saying beginning with their over hour-long conference call that began at 6 a.m. :-/. Please be advised that there is NO A/C here!! So at one point it was 83° in our room. Luckily we could open the windows to cool off. But the king room on the 2nd night there were NO SCREENS on the windows. Regarding cleanliness, the LVT floors had some debris and crumbs on them, but otherwise everything else was very clean. The restaurant and bar have great views and once the renovations are complete, this will be an upscale venue. I wish them all the best!
🤩 wow what a beautiful hotel. They did amazing job renovating rooms. It feels so clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel. One mile walk from downtown Juneau, and all the restaurants.

Good comfortable accommodations with parking, just a 5 minute drive from downtown Juneau (Franklin St. etc.); front-facing rooms have decks with views of the Gastineau Channel; lots of attention to detail make these rooms a great place to rest after busy Alaska days hiking by the glacier or bike riding
I've booked dozens upon dozens of faceless corporate hotels while traveling for work and it was refreshing to stay somewhere with actual personality and character. Silverbow is incredibly charming and intimate. After a few days I felt at home and was
This hotel always has super friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, nice rooms with kitchenette (washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, coffee-maker) and it's quiet, and comfortable. When we arrived the heat wasn't workin
Taku Lodge was amazing. The staff to the views. I couldn't get over the view of the glaciers. The salmon lunch was fantastic! After lunch, we got to hear all about the previous owners of the lodge. Then on to a nature walk. The whole place is an expe
This shop is real authentic! Small shop but very welcoming. I went to Alaska looking for some buds and The Fireweed Factory delivered! Solid prices for their product. Will definitely come back during my stay.
Nice & easy walking path to get here if you have decent mobility. Not ideal for limited mobility. Great signage. You can't get lost. Saw lots of small wildlife, like mice & birds. Someone reported seeing a bear, but we didn't see it. You can get so c
