Waterfront At Potlatch - Resort hotel in Skokomish - 21660 US-101, USA

I just stayed here overnight but will definitely be back. The location is superb; right at the water's front. It was nice and quiet for me when i stayed and clean. The room was nice sized. I was on the second floor so i had a covered balcony which was great since it was raining when i was there so i could have my coffee under cover. Highly recommend if you want a place with a water view.

We had a spacious king bed room with hardwood floors, a balcony (unused, it is too cold now...) with view of the Hood Canal (when the fog lifted), managed to see a seal from our window. Amaizing staff helped us with the coffee machine and with both dinenr and breaffast recomedations (both were excellenttly what we were looking for). Everything was clean and pleasant. We will be back if we ever pass by this buitifull area again. Excellent value for moeny.|Others noted aboutt he noise from the road - you can hear it if you try, but it is was very easy for us to forget it was there. Slept really well.

Lovely! We stayed overnight in one of the rooms. Nice, spacious, clean and pleasant. There were a few very small items that could have been different but nothing to prevent my returning and staying again. Highly suggest this location! The staff was amazing, upbeat, quick, helpful, smiling and pleasant!

What a beautiful stay. The views from our cabin were amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back. Rooms were clean and bed comfy with tons of pillows. So easy to park. Perfect.

We chose this place as a stopover for one night on our way north, and it was pretty much what we expected. However, the "view" from our deck wasn't the shoreline we expected, but the tops of at least seven RVs parked behind us. And since the highway is literally feet from our door, there was highway noise all night (maintenance trucks, log trucks, ...). It served its purpose as a stopover, but didn't offer much else.

Small waterfront resort. I was in a lovely room with a huge king-size bed. There was a sofa and a dining table. Nice wet bar set up with fridge and microwave. Very tastefully furnished. Beautiful, tranquil and relatively affordable.

The view was great until they parked an RV in front of us. No air conditioning and it was hot so we left the door open and it was extremely noisy with cars and trucks going by all day as you're right off the road. Even with the door closed it was very noisy. Then one day, the mower and trimming was going for 3-4 hours and we couldn't close the windows or sliding glass door because of the heat. There's no carpet to help absorb the noise. The room was exceptionally clean except for the floor. I could see feet and toe marks left on the floor. I went barefoot in the room and my feet were black. We went for the view and rest and we definitely didn't get rest. We were there for three nights. The staff was great. The location is great. You're only 10-15 minutes from Shelton so there's lots of places to eat besides Hoodsport. The casino is there also with excellent food. Too bad they didn't have carpet to absorb the noise and air conditioning so you could close the doors and no huge RVs that block the view. Wish the balcony was open also instead of enclosed. The clubhouse looks great. We probably won't go back?

Wow, is all I can say. I booked two rooms as a high school teacher travelling with a group of 7 students learning about careers in agriculture and natural resources. Our hope was to stay here and explore the national park. After booking, I received a phone call days later saying we were not welcome to stay here because I would have a group of 4 female students sharing a room without a chaperone, even though I would be there in another room with my male students. I was told the owner said "That's the age girls get wild"... as if I am unprofessional enough to put my license in jeopardy and bring students on a career trip that have applied and gone through an interview process to even be considered for the trip. Thankfully, the Sunrise resort is just down the road and was very welcoming to a group of young professionals. Take your money there. Not here!
