You ever want to feel like you stepped into an alternate universe? If you said “yes”, go to this Cub. Everything here is slightly wrong. It’s like it used to be a secret government lab where people were tested on how they deal with stress in shopping situations and then the government said: f-it, just turn it into a Cub Foods. The aisles are wrong , the produce is unorganized and you can’t find anything you are looking for.
Not all Cubs are alike, this is the only store that carries the best shrimp cocktail sauce, not Target or any other grocery stores Seafarm brand
Just went inside to buy some food. But the sad thing about the store now they have self check out and 2 or 3 open lanes with a person working them. Everybody does not like self checkout.
Cub is by far my go to. Great staff. Would like to see pork cube steak come back.
Great little shopping area with a lot of variety. You can get your grocery shopping done, stop by the liquor store, pick up a treat for your pet and plants for your garden and many more options all in one stop. Lots of parking available, even when Cub Foods gets busy.
It's okay..... it seems kind of high priced Cub foods is high price but there is a tasty Thai restaurant that is worth it in the strip mall. I understand the prices are higher because they're smaller businesses but during a recession people don't care they want more for their money.
Tuesday morning is one of my most favorite places to shop. The staff is extremely friendly and the prices have always been good. The saddest thing is that they are closing this location in mid January. I am very saddened by this and will have to go out of my way to go to a different Tuesday morning in Excelsior
Shop here infrequently. But there is ALWAYS good parking, except when the CUB is busy, and on holidays. The liquor store has a wonderful staff there who are always pleasant when I visit. There is going to be new JETS Pizza replacing the Caribou, and that's exciting because their pizza is great.
