Water Moon - Asian fusion restaurant in Draper - 129 13800 S ste a4-a5, USA

Went here for Christmas Eve and was greeted with Happy Raymond who was pleasant and helpful got us taken care of quickly. Sake bombs he set up for us and did the honors of setting the bomb. Will be back, food was delicious and left overs were great too!

If you want a great restaurant to have a work meeting, Water Moon is the place to go. They're efficient and can get you in and out in under an hour. I've had the Vegas roll, crispy beef, ham fried rice, and pon pon chicken. If you're going to try anything here, try the crispy beef or pon pon chicken. I wouldn't recommend the Vegas roll, but go with one of the starred items on the menu if you're eating sushi. Our servers were friendly, but be prepared for efficient service. What I mean is that if you're not prepared for it, you might feel like they're rushing you through. A fun aspect of Water Moon's atmosphere is the tucked away booths. This offers a little privacy for your table, which can be nice. The menu is massive so you're bound to find something you'll like, but the prices are a little steep for the amount of food you get. The best bang for your buck is the bento boxes.

Great find! May have a new favorite sushi spot in Draper. The restaurant is big inside, with private booths along the side wall. The service was outstanding with Raymond! After hearing our initial orders, gave us recommendations that were even better than what we ordered. The rolls were fresh (mars, Seahawk, cosmopolitan and ichi) and delicious! 100% recommend this place

We have not only eaten in restaurant but also ordered delivery. This place, hands down, genuinely care about their patrons. To date, not one single time have we been disappointed. Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere, presentation and staff. I wish I could give 10 stars. If you haven’t eaten here or ordered from here you are missing out! P.s. Food was great, Mia was awesome as our server but she was being trained under Raymond. I hope our tip did not go to him. He rushed our order, misheard our order and got the wrong the items. Never apologized. Mia apologized for his mistake and corrected the order. She offered the incorrect item on the house. Raymond came by and took the food away. No thank you, no checking on us. Just treating us like we were inconvenience. Mia was new but, she should be the one training Raymond. If i come back and I see him there, I’m walking out. His attitude and lack of people skills made it obvious that we weren’t wanted.

We went to Water Moon for lunch, this was our first time at this restaurant. The food was so good, the service was quick and friendly and the selection of different sushi rolls as well as all of the other food items they offer was exceptional. We will be returning for sure.

Water Moon offered an adequate experience for me. The service was good and the staff was friendly, but the quality of my meal tasted "ordinary". I ordered their Orange Chicken lunch and it seemed mildly bland. Just nothing that would stand out from the texture of the food. I compare it to Panda Express's chicken. Good/decent but not spectacular...which is what I'm looking for from a restaurant charging more than Panda Express. Perhaps it was the specific food. Overall, Water Moon was a fine experience but not to special!!!

Water Moon has good food, and very attentive staff, but is far too expensive for what you get. My office took us out to lunch at Water Moon and I really enjoyed the meal. The soup was good, the sushi rolls were fine/good, and my Japanese teriyaki steak bento box was very tasty (except for the California roll. I didn’t like theirs.) I was going to rate it 4 stars (even considering 5) but then I looked up the price and was stunned at how much everything cost. I just hadn’t noticed since I wasn’t paying during my visit. I enjoyed the service and I enjoyed the food. But for me and my budget, it’s just too expensive for what you get.
