Wasson Park - Featured Reviews (422)
This is a nice park, suitable for ages 5 -12, according to the little sign on the playground itself, but my toddlers also enjoyed playing there. There's a few slides, one of which goes pretty fast, according to my husband, and different ways to get up or down the playground. The playground has that rubbery, or foam, ground so if the kids fall, they have a soft(er) landing. Plus, then you don't have to deal with getting sand, pebbles, or mulch out of everything! Two benches are located right next to the playground and give you a good view to keep an eye on your kids. There is also a trash can for any litter. Not too far from the playground is a basketball court you could play it. Overall, a pretty nice park and the view from when we went in the evening was beautiful. As a side note,I do wish that there was a sidewalk on that side of the street to make it easier to walk to and from the park.
Parks are an awesome community resource for city kids to interact with nature. The Old North End 80907 is where I grew up and raised my own kids. This is a decent well established neighborhood full of one story brick built ranch style homes that have seen generations come and go. My eldest son graduated from Wasson High School. Park & Recreation have historically taken good care of our parks and trails and I'm so happy they were well maintained and preserved so that this generation can enjoy playing in them!
Nice clean green grass and nicely kept for. Lots of space to run your dog around. Usually very quiet during daytime. Planes fly right overhead a lot too.
Fun interactive park! The playground equipment was in good shape, and the surrounding field was well maintained. The bathrooms are the only down point as they are not private.
Cute park, only one large, one smaller playground apparatus, missing some parts, but the kids enjoyed it. I miss the old parks with real swings and whirling platforms that made you dizzy. Life is dumbed down in the name of safety now.
This park is pretty nice. The slides are very high and steep. They are not big enough to help your little ones down. I would not recommend this for smaller children 4 or under.
Really cool playground equipment. There is one big tower, three stories high, with slides at different levels. There's also some cool musical equipment. But open space for picnics, football, soccer, etc. And plenty of medium sized trees for climbing. The bathrooms are crazy far away from everything though, and they're kind of sketchy.
Very clean, fun quiet park. Has a basketball court with trashcan, so no trash everywhere.
Wonderful state of the art park with playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12 year Olds. There is also and exercise section for adults and nearby skate part and bike parks.
Great, big park with wide open spaces and clean places! Beautifully maintained area with an updated playground that has fun colors and safe low-to-the-ground features, has gazebos, even a wedding gazebo, picnic pavilions with tables that are kept cle
This place is gorgeous! Love to let my kids play while I take in the scenery around me. Itâs a great place to have picnics and parties. Itâs a huge park with a ton of open green space. There are pavilions you can reserve or use on a first come/fi
Wonderful park. It has a nice playground both for older and younger kids. Thereâs a large green open space more people are playing volleyball. There are tennis courts as well. Behind the park is a walking trail with some nice views of the city. Ove
I have played the playground for about an hour and a half. They have three different play areas within the same distance, and two sets of swings. Definitely a park for all ages. Lots of places to sit and watch your Kiddos. Also, a good amount of par
Little ones playground, basketball courts, small climbing wall, zip lines, baby swings, and a large center grass field. For playing or relaxing, or have a picnic. I believe I spotted a couple of picnic tables. Nice quiet playground.
What a beautiful find! Lots of bikes, dog walking, trails, and this great hike to the reservoir. Hike is not at all strenuous for the average person. Nice, slow incline. Plenty of trail options. Amazing how close it is to city (can see it from the to

I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
