Had an incredible experience at this property! Impeccably clean and absolutely worth every penny spent. The owner and the housekeeping team went above and beyond to assist us with a last-minute booking, making our stay with my husband truly memorable. Their exceptional service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.
The customer service was amazing! My flight got in way earlier than expected and they got me in my room 5 hours early. Answered the phone right away and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was cozy and it's a great location to stay out of the busy parts of traffic but close enough to experience it all. Would definitely go again, great value!
The remote check in was a little wonky, but was fine in the end. It's really cute, and very clean. It took a long time to get hot water in the shower, but I totally get it with a place that is so vintage.
During our family vacation to the USA, we chose to stay at The Washoe and booked one of their spacious houses. The property, equipped with three bedrooms, exceeded our expectations. Despite not having the opportunity to meet the owner and staff in person due to the property's set check-in policy, their exceptional accommodation and responsiveness made our stay truly enjoyable. If you are a smaller group, they also have studio units available for rent. Highly recommend the place!
We always have a great time in The Washoe Lodge. Staff are friendly, units are clean and they did a renovation too! We'll be back for sure and we highly recommend this place.
We booked through airbnb and the host was so rude right off the bat for me asking a simple question. When we got there it was clean but overpriced for a little room. The bathroom had no soaps, the room was hot with no circulation, and the mattress had no mattress protector! When I asked the host for a partial refund, he denied it right away even though no mattress protector is a major sanitation problem. Be aware of this place, they are cross posting it on hotel websites as well for different prices but now I understand why the place was empty when we stayed the one night. Don’t waste your money here.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Washoe Lodge in South Lake Tahoe, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I checked in using their convenient self-check-in process, I felt right at home.
DONT STAY HERE! The people that run this place are unprofessional scammers. If you see this place on Airbnb avoid it! There’s much better places to stay in Tahoe than this place and it’s a huge shame because it’s located in a great part of town. It used to be a great little family motel years ago but now it’s owned by a couple of lazy hosts that don’t seem to care at all about their lack of hospitality. They are extremely difficult to work with if you need to cancel and get a refund, even if it’s well in advance. Don’t support these scammers!

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
