I stopped by here for lunch on my way through town and I’m glad I did. The staff were super friendly and you can tell that they genuinely wanted you to have a good experience. I had the grilled chicken breast sandwich and it was really tasty. The service was what every restaurant should strive for because it’s what keeps patrons coming back. Highly recommend.
First visit of many to come! Our group went in Friday and had the BEST wings, and appetizers! Service was great! Met the owner, he is 100% involved and committed to this place. We will definitely be making this our top pick for dinner!
I think they give most wing joints in Washington a run for their money. Plus $14 for 12 wings is not too bad for the quality and specialty wing sauces for the area. Bourbon Bacon and PB&J are unique and wonderfully mixed sauces. I hope that they release their full menu online soon.
The food and the atmosphere are exceptional! The owners and the staff are very welcoming. I wish it were closer to Athens, so that I could visit more often!! ❤️ The smash burgers are AWESOME!!!

Absolutely amazing place!!! In town for work and come across this place next to the Fitzpatrick where I'm staying. Met the owner, some regulars and this is definitely the place to be!!! Family friendly, amazing food and amazing staff!!!! 10/10 will definitely be back again and again!!!!!
Great place to eat! Can be noisy but that's part of a tavern atmosphere. The philly is great and the appetizer sampler is also.
After several months of consistent visits to the Tavern, our family can confidently say there will not be another place in town to receive such excellent service. This was an awesome day trip. The plantation is beautifully reserved and Suzanne, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions. You can tell that a lot of love has been put into restoring these homes to their original era
