Can’t believe it is dog park. Thousands of people bustling as part of annual tulip 🌷 festival. Every arrangement was to the perfection. Manned and ticketed closed zone for 🍺; police watch tower, plethora of food trucks, non profit initiative booths, unseen unheard mementos like bugs 🐜in necklaces, wood carved true to size and shape colored tulips and other flowers, wood carved musical animals with life like sound. Just amazing place, good that for a few days we enjoy this part of the park😀
I was part of the doing process at the Latin fest and witnessed the mayor, police chief, etc., award Latinos on this date for Latino day.

Mostly everybody that lives here and obvious close to Washington Park comes to walk their dog. Your dog was have a license and the complete set of shots. the dog should be on the list all the time unless he's very friendly and does not jump and will not approach somebody on a growl with intent to attack. be on the safe side you should always have your dog on a leash or some type of longer early so you can control the dog. Mostly all dogs with their owners that come to this park are friendly and they all get along with each other. People also come here to the look at the beautiful sight in the surroundings. There is a lake house on the side of Madison Ave. Restrooms are available. Whatever trash you bring into the park you must bring it out with you. It's a perfect part for small picnic or even just even sunbathing. This little cash only place is a great find. The staff are all family. Friendly, and quick service. Your plate will be over flowing with the taste of the old fashion cooking. Definitely recommended to stop and eat here.
