This is such a pretty spot to enjoy a picnic or BBQ, or for me to get in my daily cold plunge. The water is very cold so if you are not a regular cold swimmer, please make sure you don't go in the water alone or stay in very long. There is a nice boat launch, beach, covered picnic area, and two parking lots. You can drive the loop for some great park views, but this will be the only spot to take a dip, or enjoy a sandy beach. Definitely drive the loop and make a few stops as it's really beautiful.
Beautiful view! There's a playground and picnic areas and benches!
Very busy at times. Launch at low tide if you can to avoid crowds. Not so easy to launch at low tide with my sail boat. The North side of the launch is best.
Pretty beach with great views of sunset when you walk a bit down the trail
Great sunset view... Kids had super fun in water and play ground. Parking is super easy. Beach is very clean and less crowded. We really enjoyed our evening on a warm day until 10 pm or so. Better to carry water and good as nearest store is 4 miles away - it's fairly near but local roads. The loop in Washington Park by car is awesome. I highly recommend this place to watch Sunset.😊
We enjoyed our time both on the beach and at the top of the scenic route, and our dog loved running on the beach.
This park is located .6 Miles just passed the San Juan Island Ferry. My group of friends used the boat dock ramp and the overnight parking. Finding the boat ramp was easy enough if you followed the signs. It was very quick clean and easy to Launch our boat. Getting back to the overnight parking was easy enough if you read the signs and make sure you park in the right lot that allows overnight parking without being towed.
This was a great place to watch the sunset. There is a small little gravel beach that still gives you enough space to have some privacy. Also the boat launch, a bunch of picnic tables, and a modest playground for the kids.
One of the most picturesque places in the Whidbey Island/Anacortes area. A must see location if you love the outdoors.
Use caution and if you have a small animal keep it on a leash. Keep little kids at arms length at all times as there are spots all
We especially Love this place friendly, clean bathrooms, recycle & regular trash bins extra doggie trash bags. We especially Loved the Beautiful Star that was mounted during Christmas. Simply Beautiful !
The perfect spot to take in the views, sunsets are great. There are benches, and itâs a very dog friendly park.
Clean and well maintained, this is a private /non city/state park, but open to the public.
Usually a good ending spot for a long walk i
