I am an avid traveler and out of the 12 campsites I’ve been to, this is by far the BEST! The amenities are so fun and family friendly. The oak trees are so beautiful and provide such nice shade all over the campsite. The shuttle system is great and very easy. The workers were so friendly, especially Bill. He was so kind and interested in getting to know you.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the Maryland Rennaisance Festival.
The staff here are phenomenal! Special Thank You to Phoenix for your help when I broke down. You truly saved me. I'll never forget your kindness and your beautiful soul. The bathrooms are super clean. I was very impressed. The scouts loved the Gaga ball pits. The store was very cute. They even sell ice, firewood and propane. I came on a day when they ran a 40% off sale. That was awesome.
I’m currently staying at this KOA. The campground appears to be well maintained however I had an unsatisfactory experience with the facilities and staff at the campground. I was using the laundry facilities and I used the app that is promoted on stickers on the machines. One of the machines failed to start. I looked for contact information but none was to be found in the laundry area. I then went to the office to explain the problem and received a dismissive shrug and was told I’d have to contact the app administrator. I explained there was no phone number and again received the dismissive shrug with an added comment from the office staff that there was nothing they could do about it. It’s just another indicator of the poor customer service that is deemed acceptable. It seems that this KOA would prefer to benefit from $5.00 spent by a customer at the laundry for an inoperable washing machine than to provide good customer service.
We had a great campsite this trip, patio & FHU. Very nice improvements and updates. Many sites were freshly groomed, and it looked like they were working on many others. The store was open and updated as was the signage. We needed a quick repair at our site, and the gentleman came in <15 minutes and took care of it. Fire wood delivered. Efficient friendly staff everywhere!
We have a pretty big camper, usually have a little trouble in and out but the majority of the campers here were 40' plus and they seem to understand turning radiuses here. The location is what we booked for, and you can't beat it. Easy day trips into DC and Baltimore.
Phenomenal people that work here!!!! We had an emergency on a Saturday and no where to go. We pulled in with a large toyhauler and they went out of their way to get us into a site, even being booked up. They made sure we had supplies and went above and beyond what was expected. I will forever be greatful for kind words and extending excellent service. I will becoming here for now on for any DC trips in the future.
Great location with clean amenities and grounds. Campsites are close knit and great for group camping since there's only one tent per site. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Firewood is available for purchase and can be delivered to your campground. The entrance is semi tricky, don't miss the turn ;)
