Super clean campsite. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. Felt safe with park rangers roaming by and the rangers and staff were very nice. We showed up a little late and they were nice enough to let us in the gate. Can’t wait to come back here! Beautiful views.
Its a good place for kids cuz the water only goes to around 5 feet they also have life jackets u can borrow if u don't have your own be aware that the water isnt very clean its still very fun
Perfect little swim area. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk but it's worth it. Really appreciated that they had a little shower to rinse off when you're done swimming also.
This is a army Corp of Engineers park. We camped at site 60 and some leveling was involved. We had our own electric hook up and had to share a water hook up. We needed more than 50 feet of water hose. It was a mostly shady site with a nice fire ring. There is a fishing pier at Copan Point which is nearby. Also at Copan Point is a beach and a hiking trail. It was a nice trail with nice scenery. However my dog and I picked up many ticks.
We are camping at site # 60. Had to level a little. Had electric and shared water. There is a fishing dock at Copan Point nearby and good fishing in that area. There is a beach in that area. Site 40 and those in that area have a dedicated water and electric and are nearer the water.
Great camp grounds and tie off place for boats or jetskies. Camping areas are huge and for the most part have some pretty cool people out there.
Best place ever I love it kids would love it ther have a good time go see it for your self
Washington Cove was pretty packed today. The water was up so people were fishing off the walls around the waterside campsites
My husband and I stayed at site 15. I was a little nervous about the water connections being far away after some reviews, but ours was very close and so was all of the surrounding sites. For reference I took a pic and it shows our 50â hose had tons
