I just love this park so much. It's never too busy, but it's absolutely gorgeous and there is always good people and dog watching! If you want a nice place to relax in the sun come here.
Near dark. Neighborhood Joe's taking their dogs out for exercise. Pleasing spaciousness. Here there be grass green and trees blue. A seeming unnoticeable stretch of open spaces, located in the heart of people passing through going home or elsewhere. An oasis, if you will. I know I will.
This is a true community treasure. Live music, kids playing, River House uses it for tree climbing camps, picnics, BBQs, university students, families. Love this place. You can usually find street parking unless there's an event. In which case, ride your bike!
A nice place near UO campus to relax and enjoy the afternoon. The large swaths of open grass are inviting with several benches located around the parks edge to sit.
Pretty little park surrounded by trees & older well-cared-for homes. Have had many physically distanced meetups with friends here as there is plenty of open space. When it’s nice out it can get a little busy, but it’s never too been full when we’ve been there
So relaxing and plenty of space for everyone.
Such a beautiful park but it’s smaller than I expected. In the pictures it looked bigger but it’s definitely not. Still a really nice place to have a picnic or enjoy a beautiful day.
It is very green here and a good recommendation to visit to just relax. The ground can be very bumpy and the grass stays a tiny bit moist. There also isn't a whole lot of shade at high points of the day. But you most likely will find a place to sit since the park is never really over crowded.

Great hike. Not too challenging but enough to give you a workout and a reward of a fabulous view from the top.
Can be a little busy but I found everyone is friendly and enjoying the hike.
Yeah. So anyway. I went wandering. This Park is right here. Never went anywhere. I am not the only person who found it. All kinds of Human Beings here. Frolicsome. Noisome. Happy to be alive, Human Beings. Wide open. Useful. A delight. S
Great walk pleasant people try and do together walk in 45 minutes. The best I've done is 50 minutes. Beautiful and always interesting things turkeys owls.
Cute park with a massive playground and open areas. The real gem are small pathways thru the treeline down to the water for a secluded spot to hang in the shade and listen to the water
My family & I love coming here. Its kind of a special place for us. Amazing view of Eugene & breathtaking view of the mountains. Drive up to the top always freaks me out tho, its unnerving cuz it's pretty steep!
It's a great park to walk. Right next to the Willamette River, the mixture of green and bubbling clear water create a very nice environment for a walk or bike. Across the bridge is the university of Oregon, and many office buildings. Great area to re
Lovely little jaunt in South Eugene. Typically quite clean, somewhat vertical and parking can be a bit tight at the bottom of the trail so arrive early or be lucky!
Mid-sized playground with quite a few fun features. The sideless slide makes me nervous but my preschooler has no problem staying on - neither did I. Along with the playground equipment (slides, swings for big and little kids, teeter-totter, small sp

This was a surprise find on a trip to Eugene. We went on our first night; but based on the owner, friendly atmosphere, and crowd, we went back each night we were in the area.
