Wasabi34 - Japanese restaurant in Matawan - 392 NJ-34, USA

Delicious, always fresh sushi! However the woman who works there, who may be the Owner is very rude. Although the service is quick, she is never ever friendly and she lacks customer service skills and personality. The male chefs and male owner are very nice. But she ruins it for them. I don't come often only because of her attitude. I've brought friends here who never wanted to return back because her demeanor makes you uncomfortable. However it is the freshest and most delicious sushi in the area for certain!

They make nice sushi. We often order here to go. One time they bit messed up the order, but it's only once. They have a nice sitting area inside. It's a big restaurant. There are interesting arts on the walls. A lot free parking on the site. Located right on the NJ-34. Customer service is good. And service is pretty fast. Recommended.

I love this place and its my regular place for the fresh sashimi/sushi. Toro is the best when they have it. The food is great and fresh. The staff is wonderful. Ask for the fish of the day if you feel like something new.

Quick service, they were all friendly and explained what each roll was. Price is reasonable. The sushi was incredible! Best I've ever had! Ordered the Maki for 2 and it was very filling and delicious

In my 20+ years living in the area I do not know how I never went to Wasabi34. I finally had an opportunity and was impressed. Their carrot ginger dressing is to die for. Definitely one of the tastiest. I also thoroughly enjoyed their appetizers - sushi pizza and firecracker rolls. I also got their Peking duck and soft shell crab rolls - delicious.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The fish is always fresh, and it's always great quality. Their options range from purist staples to inventive rolls and plates all for a reasonable price. For those who aren't keen on raw fish, they offer plenty of cooked meats and fish dishes.

Fantastic food, I love the sashimi and all the seafood are fresh and delicious. Cozy environment and friendly service. Will definitely go again and recommend to my friends

For me the food at Wasabi 34 has always been fresh and appetizing. The staff are very friendly and I’m lucky to enjoy their food so close to me as there one of the best in the area. Some places use some fancy presentation or flashy plate to impress but at Wasabi 34 the food is always the thing that impresses and is what keeps us coming back!
