I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The food was excellent! I tried several different rolls and each was was as delicious as the last. The staff were awesome. Incredibly friendly, energetic, and personable. Had several good conversations with the staff. Special shout out to the bartender Olivia! Super fun to talk with and very attentive to customers!
This was our first time at Wasabi Johnson. All the food we ordered was amazing. (Spicy seafood noodles, tuna cucumber salad, rolls, mango mochi and drinks). Alexa F provided excellent service and answered all our questions. Comfortable ambiance. We will definitely go back.
No wait on a Friday night for 3 people. Friendly staff. We ordered 4 sushi rolls. All good. Edamame was nice and fresh. Spicy Kimchi Ramen was not too spicy, but very salty. I wish it had more kimchi. I'm really disappointed that there was no pork in my bowl at all! The menu lists charsui pork as the first ingredient, and there was not a trace to be found. I should have spoken up, but I assumed I must have misread the menu. When I got home, I looked up the menu online and realized it was indeed supposed to include meat. $18 is an expensive bowl of ramen, especially with no meat.
Was able to get seats right away. Waitress was knowledgeable and was able to assist us quickly. Had the seafood Ramen and added jalapeños to it. Also had the sake sampler. Definitely was delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for sushi or ramen!
Sushi is really good, nice presentation. From full rolls to half sized and chef combos... they have much to choose from and share. Love the location and look. They have a dining area and large bar area that also has big 'U' shaped booths. Definitely plenty to try here!
Wasabi did a great job on the remodeling of their new building. It looks great! When we went for dinner a couple days ago, we were one of three tables seated in the bar area. The other two tables got prompt service by the same server We got assigned a different server and waited over ten minutes before she came out of the back to bring us water. We actually were getting ready to leave. The service aspect continued with several other forgotten items. When the food came, it was OK, not great, not terrible. Overall, not a great 1st visit to their new location.
Went here for dinner and my expectations for a great dinner were far exceeded. The resturant is beautiful and clean. Our waitress(I wish I could remember her name!)was amazing, attentive and so personable. The food was so delicious, my husband got the Black Garlic Ramen and it's the best ramen we have had in Des Moines. My sushi was fresh and flavorful, the sake we got to go along with the meal really hit the spot and the dessert was out of this world. I can't reccomend this place enough for a great dining experience!
We have eaten and loved going to Wasabi for years, but our visit last week was the best. Kev was amazing. He added an element of fun and we also provided great service. We hope he is working tonight, so we can request him!

Great place to walk all the lil pups. The path is paved and goes around a play area + soccer field. Thereâs a connection to some neighborhood sidewalks, too. Be advised - my map always tries to take me to the side of the park with no parking lot. J

Service is always great and they make good drinks! We go Friday nights beginning at 8 for local live music. Dance floor is on the smaller side and can be crowded; plus I wish they had more tables for 2-4. Seats get wasted when 2-4 people sit at a tab

Providence Pointe is a great apartment community. The leasing specialists and office administrators are very kind and helpful. They even know me by name :-) Maintenance is super responsive and take great care in their work. They are very courteous. T
