Wasabi offers a wonderful selection of authentic food! It was my first time trying sushi at a restaurant and I was no less than amazed at the quality and the diverse flavors in the We Love Ames roll! We also grabbed Shrimp Rangoons as an appetizer and they were also wonderful! Prices were reasonable for this style of food, although it is pricier than going to a burger restaurant of course. It was a great value for our meal! The only downside to this restaurant is the small parking lot. If you’re meeting a friend here, make sure to carpool!
One of the best sushis I tasted. Please try crunchy crab roll, Marilyn monroll, angry dragon, along others. Try fried rice and seaweed salad too.
This place is great for a date night. Dishes are aesthetically pleasing but the quantity/price ratio is bad. You don’t get a lot of food for how much you pay. Everything looks great on camera, tastes decent, but just not very filling. The atmosphere is really nice as well.
Not nearly as good as it usually is and that's a huge disappointment! He had the beef lo mien, flavor was right, but the noodles were like eating glue and way way overcooked. I had the tempura battered California roll and my rice was gummy and the tempura batter was so thick it wasn't cooked all the way thru and the slices...holy cow! Look at them!! Our Dasher Micah was awesome! Rang the doorbell and sent me a pic that it was there. That was a 1st and very very appreciated!! But for $40 Wasabi, I'm not happy
The sushi at Wasabi Ames was fresh and tasty. It was definitely made after we placed our order. It is a little pricey for portion sizes but I’m only reviewing it for the Sushi plates in the picture. It helps to have a reservation because then the wait is leaser than walk-in (especially during rush time). We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back whenever we can. Thank you for your pleasant service.
We visited the Ames location for the first time for a birthday and it was delicious! The service was prompt and attentive. Great selection of mocktails. Loved that it is quiet and you can easily carry on a conversation with others--even in a large group. Lots of gluten free options if you need those!
Pretty yummy food It was pretty dead when we got the restaurant so it was quiet and peaceful. The food was a little slow but came out in a reasonable amount of time. Octopus was a little over cooked making it a little tough. Beef was delicious though and very moist.
We usually love wasabi but last time we went it was awful! I had been craving sushi since i was pregnant and could finally have it. We ordered 4 rolls. We got the spicy maki combo and all the rolls were dried out and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. We ended up eating a few of those rolls and being grossed out by them.
My new favorite place in Ames! Great protein and super fresh ingredients, I have took 3 poke bowls a week and never gotten sick ever! The salmon and tuna are amazing. The staff is always nice and accommodating! The place is always clean too. Would hi

The classes are fantastic with every day being different and covering both strength and endurance type workouts. The staff and the coaches are very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is motivating in group sessions which helps to push the lim
Innamoratissimo! The cityâs definitive hole in the wall cafe downtown, under what was the old Bike World / Two Wheel Travel on Kellogg and Main. Great aesthetic, not too big nor too small. NOT wheelchair accessible due to the almost microscopic sta
