The best gym in San Diego. This gym is never crowded, even during peak hours, I’ve never had to wait around or ask how many sets someone has left. Open 24 hours with self checkout merchandise. Custom built equipment by the owners and custom dumbbells. If you’re serious about lifting, this is the place to be. Everyone is super friendly and chill. They really do have an awesome tight knit community here, it really is like family. I’ll never go to another gym again!

I've been to over 500 gyms around the world, and been a trainer at 6 different gyms in NYC, Kansas City, Lynchburg (VA), and Colorado Springs. I've never seen a gym with such a great vibe, excellent and unique choice of machines, and owners that are there daily interacting with the members. They are also very veteran friendly which is super cool, and Atom, the owner, literally built a lot of the machines in the gym, so you won't find them anywhere else. They even invited all the members to Thanksgiving dinner at the gym, and I went. It was lots of fun. Come check it out. You'll be glad you did.

The War House Gym is amazing. I love every aspect of it. It’s super spacious, has plenty of equipment (even custom-built ones) and it’s never overcrowded. Everyone there is super respectful and are there to work hard! I go there pretty much everyday. My only wish is that I should have joined sooner! Oh by the way — the owner is great! He’s super kind, respectful and laid back. The gym rules are pretty straightforward and are very easy to follow. The business model is great. No commitment, no hidden fees and it’s easy to cancel if you ever need to (just let them know at least 24 hours in advance before it renews). There are plenty of subscription models to choose from month-to-month all the way up to a full year. I’m always excited to hit War House and crush my fitness goals! I definitely highly recommend this gym! Thank you War House!

The War House Gym is by far the best private gym in San Diego. A plethora of equipment to cover just about every workout you can imagine, which the owner, Atom, has only incorporated more pieces of equipment within my first few days here. The ambience is one of the best parts about this gym with the lighting giving it such an aesthetic scenery that is not captured anywhere else. The War Machines are unique pieces of machinery manufactured by the owner himself which he improvises on gym machinery that he believes can be better. Atom, the owners work on his War Machines is very impressive, and is my favorite part of the gym by far. Do not feel intimidated if you are just beginning your fitness journey, this is the definite place to start. The manager, Melanie, and the community are very welcoming. The gym is never packed as any other gym is during peak hours which only ensures you get the perfect workout within the right time frame without walking around waiting for a piece of equipment to free up. Give this gym a shot, you won't be disappointed. Like they say, F around and Find out!

Honestly love the gym - this is the first time I've made a hard commitment of showing up everyday to grind and work hard to reach my goals. I'm an introvert so I like knowing that I can just do my thing - especially since it's not crowded. The midnight runs to the gym are honestly one of my favorite times to go. All the amenities are clean and up-kept all the time - and I never thought I'd enjoy the cold plunge and sauna so much. Props to everyone who keeps the place running smoothly because I'm itching to come back after this long vacation!
