It was not quite what we expected. I will say it was clean, no animal smells despite being dog friendly, but very loud. You can literally hear your neighbor flip their light switch. Also, you know when everyone is using the bathroom. We had loud upstairs neighbors our first night, but the remaining nights were ok. We felt the photos were misleading and skillfully cropped. Also the locks get stuck and had it been another location, safety would have been a major concern. |The ” my place” restaurant behind this made it better. Highly recommend it for breakfast!

No couch for TV. Bed was comfortable. Close to the action. Building is old and feels that way. No A/C. Smart TV is a plus. Small fridge- doesn't hold much. Good for a one or two night stay-no longer than that.

Positive: It was centralized- clean - good deal. Negative: The per dog per day fee after you booked is deceptive. The room was incredibly stuffy if window is not opened- which wasn't feasible due to neighboring room having multiple guests banging on doors. Not enough parking.

I think this is the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in! I booked through a 3rd party and was sort of frustrated with that but once I contacted the actual hotel line they have been nothing but help. It’s clean, ADORABLE, and they even included a wine opener with their coffee/tea selections! We will definitely be back!!!

This company uses a new business model where they don't have anyone at the front desk, but instead service the rooms by text/phone. For that reason, visitors should expect to use their phones for communication. That said, we actually found the responses to be more timely and efficient than many full-service hotels provide. When we texted with questions or issues, the response was quick. It was easier to go get extras we needed on site than it has been in the past to wait for housekeeping to bring us things. The building is older and there is no daily cleaning, but the rooms are updated with a comfortable bed. This is a good option for the price range. People have complained about the lack of AC, but we put a fan in the window and were comfortable. The only negative was the layout of the property, which left us with a ground floor room with the only window facing the parking lot. Honestly, as Washington state residents, we didn't really worry about security. (Seriously... no one is going to break in while you are sleeping.) But it was sometimes noisy and felt less private having people walking by an open window, even with the drapes shut.

This is a friendly happy place to stay while at ocean shores. What ever I asked about was given freely. Staff goes out of there way make you feel welcome. Will be returning in a couple of months for a full week

It's a decent place to stay. Overall, the hotel is a little dated in the decor, but it was very clean and comfortable. Prices were average at 100ish per night.

Based on the previous reviews, I was a little worried about staying here. Driving up, I was a little worried also, as the outside has a no frills kind of look. However I was pleasantly surprised. Room #12 was clean, spacious and updated enough for me. I appreciated that it didn’t have carpet and that the two queen beds were in different rooms. WiFi was good and there is a free laundry facility. Only complaint from me was the lack of AC (wasn’t hot, but would like some air circulation). Pizza place next door was great, and the grocery store was close. ||I wasn’t the biggest fan of Ocean Shores in general, but I thought this was a decent place to stay. We only stayed one night and it was a good pit stop between a day exploring the Oregon Coast and leaving for Olympic National Park the next day.
