We stayed in the Gypsy Farmhouse and it was perfectly decorated, including rich colors, metallics, with soft ruffles and one fabulous copper tub. Looked forward to the delicious morning biscuits. Local shops had so many different options and there was wonderful food. Visited the Junk Gypsy store for some terrific items. Definitely planning to stay longer next visit. Everyone had a wonderful time!
We stayed in Thelma’s garage and loved it! Had everything we needed. We took long soaks nightly in the duo claw foot tubs. Also liked that we had a full size frig/freezer combo and microwave, a dining table and chairs and two queen beds. The floor to ceiling wall art of shirtless Brad pit in a cowboy hat was so cute and also one of Thelma and Louise on the wall with the lounging sofa. The decor was Devine throughout. We sat by the outdoor fire pit in the evening and enjoyed the brisk air and the beautiful pastures before dark. We visited the Wander Inn’s gathering place and The Crown for ice before the trip home. It is very relaxing there and peaceful. The hot homemade biscuits with jelly and butter arrived daily, wrapped in a red bandana and placed in a tin bucket. So yummy! Will definitely recommend highly and will stay again. I could go on and on. Found a one of a kind necklace at Junk Gypsy’s Store and went home with 5 of their small wines for family and the cutest little pop belly bottomed coffee cups. Amazing!!!
The Wander Inn is a top notch inn! From an easy contactless check in to check out, every detail was well planned. The property is beautiful and watching the longhorns grazing was a treat. We stayed in The Crown building, The Rambler Room, and loved it. The huge porches with rocking chairs were great. The room wasnt crowded, was pleasingly decorated and the beds were comfy. The Junk Gypsy products are wonderful and I bought a couple of them. The common room was also cute, comfortable and well stocked. The biscuits, butter and jelly were delicious. Great touch! But we wanted another biscuit! Haha! Enjoyed our visit to the Junk Gypsy store too. We all bought something! Cute fun store! Cant wait to return to The Wander Inn and quaint Round Top again!
We love staying at the Wander Inn! Spacious area and rooms. Fresh biscuits every morning. And great shopping at the Junk Gypsy. Thanks for the hospitality!♥️
Stayed at the Wander Inn for a weekend getaway with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We had such a lovely stay. Our room was so cute and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had a tub with jets. The property is insanely beautiful and is surrounded on 3 sides by pastures with longhorns and we loved waking up and walking over to the fence to say hi to the longhorns! Also the location is perfect as it’s just a 1-2 min drive to the main part of town. And the biscuits delivered to your door each morning was the cherry on top of our stay. If you come to Round Top I highly recommend staying at the Wander Inn!
We've gone as a family to stay at the farmhouse for several years it's quiet beautiful relaxing and one of my wife's favorite places they truly treat you like family wish we could give it ten stars we'll be back every year loyal customers and friends always
The only way our stay could’ve been more perfect, is if it was longer. Friendly hospitality, beautiful property and all the nice little touches (in-room record player, picnic baskets, the biscuits!) made for a great visit. Loved everything about Round Top (1st time & during winter show) but I could’ve easily spent a few more days just out on the porch of the Wander Inn! Can’t wait to visit again!
This place was absolutely adorable! The rooms are cozy and the decorating is beautiful. We really enjoyed the game room right outside our door. The game room has a coffee maker with yummy coffee, a fireplace and lots of games. No worries, people aren't out there late keeping you awake! Everyone that works there are on top of everything. If you have any questions or need anything, they are right there! Be sure to say hello to Sandie, she is awesome!
This will go down in my memories as one of the most friendly, inviting coffee shops I've been to. The coffee is delicious and the staff makes you feel warm and welcome. I had the pleasure of working remote here for a couple days while my wife and mot
You can't drive through Round Top without stopping at Henkel Square Market. We were here in February; a cute set up of many businesses: Round Top Antiques & Design Center, Pie Haven, art studios, BBQ, boutiques and a wine and cheese shop -- a lovely
First time trying their food and it was absolutely delicious! We stopped by for lunch and everything we ordered tasted amazing! Definitely loved the cream corn and the cheesy grits with jalapeños. After we went shopping for awhile we returned to try
Great night with my friends at The Stone Cellar! Prices are high ($10 per small pour of wine), but the atmosphere, friendliness and food make up for it. Brandi was our waitress. She was very friendly and fast getting our items to us. We thoroughly en
In Round Top there are not many places to eat on Wednesdays. So, we went to Lulu's for an early (5:30 PM) dinner and we're glad we did. It was 102° outside, under the subdued lighting in the bar at Lulu's it was cool and comfortable and we were the
