This was the perfect stop for the middle of a 10-hour bike ride. The ice cream here is wonderful, and they have a ton of flavors available. The shakes are chunky - just as they should be. And they have some basic food, like nachos and pretzels as well. There's some nice space to sit outside in the shade or in the sun.
The ice cream is delicious 😋 The employees are fabulous! I The atmosphere is amazing. I absolutely love coming to this place! It's so nice and relaxing to enjoy a nice sweet treat on a hot summer day while taking in the scenery and the wildlife! It's really one of my new favorite spots. The kids love coming here. Even our dogs love to come and enjoy their pup cups!!! They have the best flavors of ice cream too!!!
What a charming, lovely place! Logansport needs this nostalgic ice cream shop. And for those who are not into ice cream so much, they are offering Apple cider slushes and even warmed apple cider upon request! The food was delicious and the servings abundant - And fairly priced too. The staff was super friendly and very generous with information and time. Great history to the location and perfectly set up on the river. Beautiful. Romantic. Historic. 5⭐️s for sure!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wally and Olly's ice cream shop, and it was a wonderful experience! We ordered a chocolate shake and a taco salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. The shake was rich and indulgent, while the taco salad had a perfect combination of flavors. It was evident that they use high-quality ingredients in their dishes. The shop itself is housed in a charming old building, and the outdoor seating area is adorned with cozy rocking chairs. The landscaping is well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. We loved being able to enjoy our treats while taking in the picturesque views along the river bank. I highly recommend Wally and Olly's ice cream. Nice little hidden gem! It's just off SR 17 next to the Eel River, so you can look out over the river while eating. The staff was friendly. And just as others had said, the ice cream portion was more than expected. I would recommend the Lake Effect Pothole ice cream! The menu included food items but we were just there for ice cream.
Hours listed 12-930. Arrived at 9pm. Told that the only thing available on the menu was "hard dipped ice cream". Blasters, milk shakes, malts, sundaes, whipped cream, hot fudge, etc. Were Not available. They had to close the machines down to clean them. When I inquired what time we needed to come to enjoy the whole menu. I was told "during normal day time hours" I'm still not sure what those hours would be since your listed hours say 930pm.
After a hot baseball game, my family wanted to get some ice cream from our local ice cream place. After arriving and waiting behind a small line of people, I realized they aren't even open. I then look at their hours posted and it says closed Mondays and Tuesdays (today is Tuesday). The gentleman serving all these customers was only there to count inventory and water their plants. He was so nice to serve each of us anyways! AMAZING ice cream, and wonderful service. This place is a MUST!! You have to check them out if you haven't already!
