The food was excellent. I had the ribs and the grilled veggies (a little spicy). Totally recommend them. Atmosphere was very relaxed, good place to converse. Waiters are super chill, nice vibe overall.
It’s really hard to find food in Venice that matches with its service but this is it. Try the wallflowers absolutely incredible. Gotta love the Indonesian flare with California cuisine. It also has really great ambience and great service. Highly recommend the beef, the duck lumpia the mescal cocktail drink that they have and there are roasted vegetables served with sweet potato purée. Absolutely incredible will definitely be back.
Visited twice, each time was able to walk-in for the bar area on a weekend night. Cocktails were great and bar snacks were as well. My partner enjoyed the duck lumpia and says it’s his new favorite instead of chicken.
Flavors are authentic and rich! Cocktails are unique and delicious. Service is quality, genuine and friendly. The atmosphere is intimate. Every dish I've had here has been SO good! I recommend ordering family style and sharing different plates.
Excellent food. Love the Red Envelope. It is so good, I really don't want to try anything else. The Japanese Curry is amazing. Love the outside atmosphere and the severs are friendly. This is a great place to hangout and have a truly delicious meal. The crab dip with shrimp chips full of crab flavor and refreshing at the same time. The wrapped fish was very spicy (had to scrap off the spice, but my friend ate the spice all by itself), so depends on your level of heat! Highly recommended and will go back again.
The cocktails were amazing and we enjoyed our food but the price point is way too steep. I ordered the noodles, which had good flavor, but it was $8 to add on tofu, which was four small pieces, so I’d only come back for cocktails. The service was fine but two of the bartenders were getting into behind the bar which was a little uncomfortable for us.
Hipster southeast Asian restaurant in Venice, CA that is worth a stop for some moody atmosphere and flavorful dishes! Vegan friendly to boot! Be aware that the table reservation time is rather strict so be on time and maximize your reservation! The folks in the queue for reservations will appreciate your timeliness too! No valet (what, did you think this is Hollywood?) so find easy street parking along the side streets of the residential area. Drinks are like eye candy but I wouldn’t recommend the botanical Hemingway ($15) unless you appreciate a somewhat bitter drink!
Crab tending with shrimp chips was amazing. Drunken fried chicken was very good but also very salty
Lisa choreographed our first dance, and it was a hit! She was fun, and laid back. Her energy is unparalleled. She customized our dance to our levels and abilities. My wife and I are so happy that we chose Lisa Kellogg.
This is one of my favorite places in Venice Beach, if not my very favorite. Daniel is such an awesome person. I've been several times in the past few years and every time, literally every time, he treats me like family. This time I brought a big chun
