Love this trail, I highly recommend it! The Oceanside is much more interesting than the marina, but can be windy. Great spaces to have a picnic or a bbq, or just read a book. Lots of green Spaces and lunch benches all around.
I love this park. The ocean side always has a cool breeze and the marina side in warmer, with birds and boats. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco and Marin is stunning. The paths are nice and clear, well paved, and there is a public bathroom (open even during COVID). Lots of parking. Picnic tables and grass for kids to run.
Can be very windy but this is a lovely trail with a great view of the bay and the city. Pleasant ambient boat noises. There is an option to walk out on a pier on the Emeryville side and some nice stretches of grass on the (windier) bay side for picnicking. If you like to climb on rocks, there's lots of room for that here.

This is the perfect place to walk your dog. I often make the loop from Trader Vics and back. Lots of small picnic areas along the way. It gets windy, but it’s calmer/warmer in the morning and early afternoon

Excellent place to grab a fantastic drink in a chill atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night around 7 and there were people but it wasn't super busy. We got fast and friendly service, delicious drinks, and it was laid back and quiet enough to talk. W
