I always enjoy my pizza from here. I usually have it delivered, but I have been in this location to eat a slice alone. The service is always great! Comfortable seating, just try to avoid the after-school hours.

I went to Waldo Cooney on 8415 S Pulaski Road December 14, 2023 after 11:00 AM to pay for a big order of chicken wings. I was very adamant that the wings be delivered promptly at 4:30. Well the wings came 10 minutes late and it was difficult for me to come downstairs at my job. I only have a 5 minute window. I told the man that the delivery time is really important. I have ordered pizza before and it has always been really good. The wings were in fact terrible. They were over sauced and tasted a bit old. I was afraid to eat anymore and I told my staff to not eat anymore. I threw the whole order out. I am ordering Chinese food that will be delivered today to make up for the bad experience. Maybe stick with just the pizza. I will be careful next time and

I wanted to order a supreme pizza from this location. This experience took place on November 1, 2023 at 8:45 pm. There were a few people ahead of me. No one was at the front counter. It took about 10 minutes before someone finally came to service us hungry patrons. I get to the front counter and ask about their specialty pizzas. At this point the manager was handling my order because of something that happened with a previous customer. He and his coworker. After asking about the specialty pizzas they gave me a bizarre look and were wondering what that was. The pizzas that you sell at your establishment listed on the menu. The pre-customized pizzas in the labeled section titled Specialty. So after some back and forth with that, my next question was: do you make your pizzas fresh from scratch? Again, another look of bewilderment. However when my friend asked the question a different way, somehow they seemed to comprehend perfectly. How long does it take to make a pizza? At least 30 minutes. How much for a slice of pizza? $5 + tax. The pizza that I ordered was a pepperoni slice and a sausage slice. The pizza had flavor, but it didn't taste all that fresh. It took a lot of effort to even bite through it (just the pepperoni slice). The sausage slice was tastier and fresher! I'm amazed by all that has changed since returning to Chicago! When did a jumbo pizza become $38.99??? A 1 liter of RC is $2.65?! The people working at this establishment either don't know the menu or don't want to work. I'll definitely be a fan of Waldo Cooney's Pizza, but y'all have got to step your game up! It took too much effort just to order some food. The vibe was pleasant at all. I won't come back to this location for a variety of reasons. I just believe in phenomenal customer service, which was not provided! It almsot seemed forced. Though the pizza slices were huge, they didn't wow me like before! I'm not impressed with shoddy operations and mediocrity. Do more listening and understanding, rather than standing around all day and zoning out to another dimension! If you want my business, you must earn it! Plain and simple! ✌🏾

Very disappointed. I was very excited to get pizza from there and was completely let down. I was told my pizza would be ready at 5:35 and it was not ready until after 6. Upon arriving home I opened my pizza box to find a cold burned pizza. The have officially lost my business. I understand people have bad days, but this was awful.

The BEST pizza joint in the Chicagoland area! Great paying slots, wonderful and welcoming staff and pizza by the slice that will keep you coming back!! A MUST TRY spot if you are in the Oak Park / Berwyn area!!! 10/10 MAGNIFICO!!

If you ever talk to the owner, john is a great guy and always a pleasure to talk to. I’ve known him since i was in highschool and he always cared about his customers. The wings are amazing and the pizza is pretty great too. The wings are nice and crunchy and hot too, not too spicy. But they are made fresh and hot for every order, so its nice and hot every time.

BEST PIZZA IN BERWYN! I worked with WC's owner, John, to feed about 30 people by 11:30AM last week. John went out of his way to accommodate us and the food was SPECTACULAR! I highly recommend Waldo's.

Everything is overpriced, 7.50 for 6 cheese sticks? 14 dollars for a small Cheese pizza? 4.59$ for French fries? Can literally get 2+ whole pizzas at little cesars for that and youd be more satisfied trust me. The only affordable thing is slices, and the slices aren't that big and the price has gone up apparently, because its not 4$ like the other reviews have said and i got no free drink with it. I did get some attitude for asking for a fresh slice, instead of one thats been sitting under the lights though. Can get 2 slices bigger than, and better tasting for only a dollar more at Salernos, AND they give you free drink. And the pizza sauce was like straight up out of a can of spaghetti -os. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I don't know if it's just this location, or if they were having a bad day when I came, but it put me off for good.
