Absolutely stunning. The boat tour is more than worth it. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us the best possible tour without disrupting the animals (of which there were MANY!) The natural beauty is treated with the respect it deserves by the park staff. It was amazing for people of all ages.
The boat tour is always a fun activity - there’s a ton of wildlife to see, my favorite being the manatees. We’ve gone numerous times but when we had Ranger Phil a couple months back he was beyond fantastic. All the Rangers are friendly and knowledgable, Ranger Steven does a great “total silence” moment when he turns off the boats motor & coasts.
No photographs or words can convey these emotions and impressions from this excursion🤩. Amazing reality show: wildlife with your own eyes🥰. I definitely recommend visiting mysterious place👌
We went here a few times when we vacationed in the area. Now that we live here, we still enjoy going. Very picturesque and the tour guides are great!
Take the boat tour! Get your tickets online in advance. We bought tickets on Thursday for a Saturday tour. They were sold out the day of. Also, get to the entrance at least 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled boat tour. The line to get into the park was long, and you have to find parking and walk a bit to get to the boat dock. From the boat, we saw seven or eight alligators, 4 manatee, many turtles, and birds. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and area. Great experience. Definitely worth the price of admission.
I 100% recommend this. We got our tickets the day before. We saw so many birds, alligators and 4 Manatee. Very much worth it. Afterwards we went and checked out the hotel and that was also beautiful. People were swimming in the springs and there was a platform to jump off of.
Went on this trip two days ago and absolutely loved it. Great to see the (nearly) pristine forest. Fantastic to see so much bird life, unafraid of the tourist boat. Really good explanations / description by the tour guide. Great to see myy first alligators outside a zoo. And absolutely amazing to see the manatees, even if only briefly through the (temporarily) murky water.
Highly recommended.
(Oh, and if the air had been warmer and we'd have had a towel, at least half of us would probably have swum. 🙂)
We enjoy the riverboat in any season. Animals and plants are different each time we go.

Really nice place to hold a get together that includes children! The playground is awesome! Lots of equipment and obstacles to explore and plenty of open grass to toss a football or play other outside games. The picnic areas are big enough to hold
This is the closest Chinese place to me, it is good food and you get a lot for the price. The people are nice and quick. I gave Atmosphere a 2 because you cannot dine in and it is usually warmish, but is okay to just pick up.
