Wake Brewing - Brewery in Rock Island - 2529 5th Ave, USA

I love going to this brewery. Great beers, great bartenders and great music. I’ve only been here a few times, but I think the usual playlist is metal/hard rock, which I love and rarely hear at a brewery. The beers taste fantastic and could be the best in the QC area. The bartenders are friendly and great to talk to. There is a nice outdoor area and occasionally there is a food truck.

Gotta say I just love this place. Not in the quad cities that often, but when I am, one place I never miss is Wake. The beer is great, the vibe is laid back, and I can take my 80 y/o mother in law or 22 year old Iowa Hawkeye nephew, and both do just fine there. Great job and keep it up. See you again at Christmas.

Average beers overall. Can definitely tell flavor profile of the Raspberry stout. Loud environmental factors. Be ware as no parking spot curbs and if creep to far to edge you will dip tires. No flights and straight pours.

I had the hazy IPA and really enjoyed it. The beers were good. To me the atmosphere left a little to be desired, I was sitting in there nice outdoor seating and wanted to relax and enjoy the nice night, but they were playing loud metal music the whole time (it was just too loud for me) Other than this I enjoyed my visit.

Great beers, great staff, almost always good food trucks. Unfortunately gotta dock a couple stars for bad handicap accessibility. Also, we went when there was an event going on and, as a currently disabled person, had to park in the handicap spots behind the building, and was forced to walk all the way around the building on the street side, with horribly uneven sidewalks, because the most direct route to the front of the building was "for event and Wake personnel only". This is extremely inhospitable for disabled people. I just feel people should know this in advance of going, since it is very noticeable.

Wouldn't try this place even of someone paid me. They're beyond rude!!! Attended a wedding this weekend at the botanical center, they called and asked wake if they could be respectful and keep the music down between 430-5 so the ceremony could be heard and enjoyed, wake originally agreed but then when the day came, Wake wasn't so respectful, multiple people called wake and were met with RUDE and Disrespectful people on Wakes side, in the end the police were called and the issue was resolved but who wants to spend money at such a Disrespectful establishment

Ambiance is really nice. It would be nice in the outdoor area if there was a grassy area but where it is located at it can not be done. Because of where it is located at, you can drive past it just because it is kind of tucked behind a building. That doesn't ruin how nice the place is. Very clean. The bar tender was very nice. I feel bad I can't remember her name.

Outstanding beer-n-metal-n-doom atmosphere. The bartenders know their beers and I really liked that they have a to-go cooler.
