We just spent a week here with our four children. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The pool was great. The beach was really nice with soft sand and handful of chairs, but beware that section of the beach is not swimmable due to the currents. The location was perfect with lots of good restaurants nearby and not too far from the airport. Biggest complaint was the pool towel system; you can only check out one set of towels per day from 7 am - 6 pm and have to return the towels to get new ones. I understand the desire to decrease the amount of laundry, but it made it difficult going back and forth from beach and pool in the same day not being able to get fresh towels. I would recommend bringing your own set of beach towels. There was not consistency in the condos over the beach items provided; our unit had 3 chairs, a boogie board, and an umbrella; however my sisters’ units did not. Overall, the condo worked well for our family of six and I would stay here again.

The location is within walking distance of Coconut Marketplace and is across the street from a Safeway and some other stores. It is also right next to a pharmacy so you have basically everything you could need for staying. The kitchen area is very large and contains everything you would need to cook up meals in your room instead of going out. We stayed in a room that contained 2 rooms with 3 beds and 2 bathrooms. It was plenty of space for 6 people. The only thing is that the beach is on a coral reef, so it is not a swimming beach because you will get hurt.

Very nice resort. Pool was excellent and loved that there were three hot tubs and that they all had sand at the bottom. Also liked the free beach chairs even though the beach is not really useful for swimming or snorkeling. It still was nice for watching the sunrise and relaxing to the sound of waves coming in.

I was really surprised with how nice the place was, overall. Lots of parking, excellent staff, and one of the best pools we have ever visited. It's located on a beach, which is a tough swim because of coral, but you can get knee high in it.

We've stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it. The pool is wonderful and feels huge even when it's crowded. The toddler pool is a lot of fun, but doesn't have any shade. It's easy to see sea lions, turtles, and whales at the beach in front of the resorts. There a Safeway across the street-- great for an easy family stay.

Let me start with, we had a great time in Kauai, but I would not stay in this resort again. For starters, it is aged quite a bit and has not been kept up as it should be. The furniture is very old and in many cases very worn. The carpet is old and it is coming up and has wrinkles all over the suite. There is no cleaning service during your stay but beware you will be asked to pay a hearty cleaning fee when you check in along with other resort fees. There is only one small elevator per unit and it smells terrible and doesn’t feel like it has been updated at all for quite some time. There are only a few old worn out beach chairs on the beach and the beach is not really usable as the rocks are rough and there hasn’t been a lagoon carved out for guests. There were four beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards in the room which was nice. A really cool thing on the beach is that a monk seal regularly naps on this beach. We loved that. The resort is very convenient to Safeway (walk across the street) so you can walk over for groceries and prepared food as needed. They are very protective of the towels for the pool. You have to sign out a towel and return it daily with a max of 6 towels per day for the family. The towel service is very pitiful, the staff didn’t speak to us and barely looked at us when we came for our towels. The office is only open from 9-4 or 5 so if you need them, you have to wait for operating hours. The oasis restaurant. Was good and service there was great!

We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The resort is clean and the pool is awesome! They offer free towels and we rented beach chairs for the week. The front desk is friendly as well. The location was convenient as we could drive to North and South in about 35min. Our only complaint is that they don't clean the rooms daily even though you pay a cleaning fee + a resort fee. Even offering cleaning every other day would be nice.

This was a fantastic 5 day vacation right on the Hawaiian beach. H101 has a spectacular location and is the best unit by far to reserve. Good staff and superbly clean.

Beautiful waterfall; well worth the effort to get there. Expect 8 miles (4.5hrs minimum) of hiking on unpaved rocky terrain. You will need to cross about 4 large rivers. Bring plenty of water and food. There are restrooms at Hanakapiai beach.

Nice trail to walk along. A number of years ago I also rented a tandem bike for my wife and I and it was really fun as well. I'm not sure if they still rent the bikes now because I didn't see people riding them on our walk. You can't beat the view

Loved watching sunrise here! Very few people further south down the beach and easy parking access right off the road. Ideal spot to take in the waves and dawning of a new day.
