As soon as we walked in the door of the condo, the Marijuana smell almost knocked us all down. Note: these are all non-smoking units. I guess that doesn't include smoking the devil's lettuce. The walk was actually decent to the beach. The pool was crowded sometimes. The deep part of the pool was filled with leaves. The parking was horrible. Two days out of the vacation, some people stole our parking space twice. One of the people was another vacationers who had their parking space taken. We had to ask these people to move out of our space. There are only two staircases for each section of condos that can become very busy. The floors and walls are very thin. We had people above us who sounded like elephants walking around. It was very annoying at night. You could also hear the people on the stairs during the day and night. It is also very close to the OD arcade. It was only a few minute walk. Every time we left and came back to the unit you could smell the Marijuana coming through the walls from the other units. The parking lot is very small. It is very hard to maneuver a truck in the parking lot. The parking only goes one way. You had to drive behind the entire building just to get to your parking space. The dumpsters are also so far away from some of the condos. 6th Avenue is also very busy beside the condo.

The whole place smelled of marijuana as soon as we came in. Dryer did not work, took forever for them to come and fix it. They fixed it when we were out and again as soon as we entered we were hit with the stench of marijuana. It also smelled like every neighbor was on the weed. You could smell it on the stairs, on the patio, in the pool, even through the walls. If you have asthma or any other breathing issues or children, I would not recommend staying here. We would have called and reported the marijuana smell, but the realtor (Shane) looked like he also indulged in the weed. Also, the women in the office, Melissa, felt the need to share her life story before she checked us in. We heard all about her knee replacement and how she was in a car accident that involved a motorcyclist and she saw "body parts flying everywhere." She said this in front of my teenage sister! Inappropriate! And none of our business! Again I stress, not a place for children. We actually did inform the first maintenance man that came to fix the dryer, he failed by the way, of the weed smell and all he said was that they must have been having a good time. He was not concerned at all, he didn't care, and in fact acted like it was a normal thing. We rented through Coastal Condos. You should also know that both the unit and parking lot are small. The parking lot is really tiny. Big cars like trucks and SUVs will struggle. Just a warning.

My son, one of his friends, and me just returned from a week stay at the condo. The condo was very well kept, and everything was in perfect condition. We were ecstatic the beach was so close. What a wonderful vacation!

The 2 bedroom Units are very small & dated This place was built in 1982 and is still dated to 1982 needs to be renovated. And brought Into the present. the parking lot is very very tight and small if you drive anything bigger then a Prius You will have a hard time maneuvering in the parking lot. but it is a grear location right across the street from the ocean

Loved our stay at Waipani! Our condo was beautiful and ultra accommodating! Clean, everything worked to perfection! Will stay again! A stone throw to the ocean and a beautiful huge pool! Great Vacation.

Great location. Older, but still kept well. The grounds and pool are well cared for and enjoyable. Right across the street from beach.

The location is fantastic, right across from the beach. The condo on the other hand was not well maintained. The master bed was broken, the microwave was broken. The couch in the unit was filthy. The linens provided were inadequate.

These are privately owned condos. We have actually stayed in 3 of them and all have been nice! The pool is awesome, and you are 100yds to the beach. Cant beat it!
